Gege's new avatar was revealed for the Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition, and despite being cuter than the original version, the fandom is preparing for the worst outcome from the person with a bad track record.

The Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition has been the talk of the town, where Gege Akutami answered some of the burning questions, such as the inspirations behind some fan-favorite characters and some behind-the-scenes stuff.

But the author's recently revealed avatar has taken the fandom by storm. The avatar is the same cat as the original one but looks more innocent and cute. Considering how the author keeps killing the fan-favorite characters in the series' final arc, the fandom is not buying the new demeanor of his avatar and is expecting the worst.

What is Gege's new demeanor for Jujutsu Kaisen?

Gege Akutami is the man behind the popular Shounen manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. In the manga, at the end of the chapters, he explains some aspects of the chapter using his cartoon avatar, a one-eyed cat. Moreover, as the mangaka isn't very public, he uses this avatar to represent his own personality.

For the Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition, the author released a new avatar featuring the same one-eyed cat, which looked younger. Moreover, it seemed to have an innocent demeanor and cute looks with an extension on the back that could be a tail. The author has not clarified what this demeanor could represent or indicate.

As expected, the fandom didn't hold back and commented that they were never ready to accept such a cute avatar for an author who killed their favorite characters. Most fans saw this new cute avatar as a little devil, hinting that something bad could be coming their way, which one fan thought could be another character's death.

Another fan funnily pointed out that the author's new avatar has a tail and feet that weren't present in the previous one. The previous avatar also had these features, which were mostly pictured above the torso region. But despite his new demeanor, the fandom still has not forgiven him for the massacre of their favorite characters.

"It looks like a cute demon with the little horns and tail," a fan claimed

"Devil spawn with that tail. Another fan favorite character dying next week," another fan said

The avatar could indicate the author after he recovered his health after going on a hiatus for 3 weeks. This could be why the Gege's new avatar looks like a young version of the older one.

Moreover, as mentioned earlier, the avatar is only special for the Jujutsu Kaisen Exhibition, so it doesn't indicate anything related to the manga series or the future chapters. But there is no telling as long as the author doesn't feature this as his new avatar in the manga.
