As hinted at by the synopsis for Headhunted to Another World: From Salaryman to Big Four! anime, the series will focus on Dennosuke Uchimura, a normal salaryman trying to climb the corporate ladder. That's when he is summoned to a fantasy world by the Demon Overlord, who offers him a new job as one of the Heavenly Kings in his army.

However, this won't be as easy as it seems. This is because the first episode's title is Tips for Passing the Entrance Exam in Another World. The episode title hints that despite the offer from Demon Overlord, Dennosuke Uchimura will have to partake in an entrance exam. Given that he has no magic or muscles, this seems like a tough task. However, it is to be expected that the protagonist will impress the Demon Overlord by making use of his office worker skills.
