Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 was released on June 21, 2024, and despite Himawari's efforts, she was overpowered by Jura. On the other hand, Sarada was utterly overpowered by Hidari and it seemed like things would remain the same, hinting that the Hyuga descendant could break a curse, that started in the Naruto Next Generations, before Sarada.

The chapter saw the protagonist return and save the day by rescuing his sister and Sarada from the claws of the God Trees. Where the protagonist's sister put up a good fight against the God tree, Sarada was utterly defeated.

This didn't come as a surprise as the 'female character curse' has existed in the series since its start. While Sarada could be considered the deuteragonist of the Naruto Next Generations series, the protagonist sister could be more suited for this role in the Two Blue Vortex series, judging by the title of the series and the portrayal of her character so far.

Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 commenced with Himawari healing the fatal injury of Inojin and telling the InoShikaCho trio to leave. After they left, she commenced battle with Jura. Despite just awakening her Kurama chakra, the protagonist's sister did pretty well against the God Tree.

She even managed to produce a Tailed Beast Bomb whose power was on par with the one that Jura created. Unfortunately, Jura unleashed a small portion of his true power and overpowered the protagonist's sister. On the other hand, Sarada questioned a restrained Hidari about his identity.

Hidari, annoyed by her questions, escaped and rendered everyone motionless. He closed in on Sarada and was ready to consume her, just like how Sasuke was consumed. Fortunately, the protagonist made a surprise entry and saved both his sister and old friend.

Since the start of this sequel series, Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, no female character has been given a spotlight by the author. Even though the anime series has done a great job of doing this through its filler episodes, no cannon episode exists where any female character gains a spotlight.

Sarada is the main example, as she was the deuteragonist of Naruto Next Generations and only enjoyed some small moments throughout the series. The series ended with her awakening the Mangekyou Sharingan which she also hasn't used once in the sequel, Two Blue Vortex series.

Himawari, on the other hand, has been deeply involved in the plotline since the start of Two Blue Vortex. There is a chance that her memories also didn't get altered, but what made her special was that she inherited the Nine-Tail Fox's powers from her father.

Moreover, her fight against Jura made her a part of the fight against the antagonists too. So, the protagonist's sister could be the one who could end the 'female character curse' instead of Sarada. This also makes sense considering how the two in Two Blue Vortex could be referring to the Uzumaki siblings.
