As of July 2024, One Punch Man has two seasons with a total of 24 episodes.
One Punch Man quickly earned a reputation as one of the best anime series after its debut in 2015. Due to significant gaps between seasons, new episodes have become highly anticipated events for fans of superhero anime. The series' rich universe, lovable characters, and satirical humor have only heightened the excitement for more content. Since the conclusion of Season 2 in 2019, fans have eagerly awaited the next installment. With nearly five years having passed since then, this wait is even longer than the gap between the first two seasons.

One Punch Man has released two seasons of its anime adaptation to date.
The first season premiered in 2015, covering the initial arcs of the manga, including the Saitama Introduction Arc, House of Evolution Arc, and Hero Association Arc. The second season aired in 2019, delving into later storylines such as the Human Monster Saga and parts of the Monster Association Arc.
The anime is based on the manga series illustrated by Yusuke Murata, which is itself an adaptation of the original webcomic created by ONE. The webcomic, manga, and anime each follow various story arcs, with the manga and anime expanding upon the webcomic's content. While the webcomic has advanced further in the story, the manga includes additional content and battles not present in the original, with ONE's approval of these enhancements.
Currently, fans eagerly await news of a potential third season, which would likely continue adapting the Monster Association Arc and subsequent storylines from the manga.
