How powerful is Himawari in Boruto? This has been the most intriguing question among fans ever since the revelation of Himawari being a Jinchuriki. Chapter 10 revealed that Kurama had somehow reincarnated within Himawari, indirectly making her a Jinchuriki.
But unlike Naruto, Himawari had Kurama's complete compliance from the very start. Although the full extent of her abilities hasn't been revealed yet in the manga, older chapters, and the new chapter 11 sneak peek make it possible to construct a complete list of Himawari's powers.

Boruto Two Blue Vortex: Himawari's rise to relevancy
Himawari and her overall power level have always been a point of contention for the Boruto and Naruto fandom ever since her introduction. Although some of her abilities, natural talent, and overwhelming potential were shown in the early chapters of Boruto, her relevancy to the plot came in the latest chapters of the Blue Vortex.
In recent chapters, Himawari has become the new host for Kurama. The full extent of her powers is yet to be explored in the manga, but her current form has already shown signs of the tailed beast chakra mode.
Fans are expecting she'll unlock most of the powers associated with being a Jinchuriki, along with her normal abilities. Currently, Himawari is only below Kawaki, Boruto, and the Shinjus in power level.
Himawari's normal abilities
1) Byakugan
Because of her Hyuga heritage, Himawari subconsciously activated the Byakugan at age three out of anger when Boruto tore her favorite toy. In the anime, her grandfather, Hiashi, openly praised her for awakening it at such a young age. The Byakugan is one of the unique and powerful Dojutsus in the Naruto universe and is possessed by most of the high-ranking Otsutsuki clan members.
2) Hyuga Clan Taijutsu
Himawari can unconsciously use the Gentle Fist taijutsu. This enables her to inject chakra into an opponent's tenketsu precisely with her strikes, causing internal damage or manipulating their chakra pathway system with minimal contact.
When combined with her Byakugan, Hinata noted that a single strike from Himawari was accurate and powerful enough to leave a person unconscious for an entire day. In the anime, she could knock out Naruto with a single hit.
Himawari's Jinchuriki abilities
1) Tailed Beast Bombs
Tailed Beast Bombs are undeniably one of the most powerful and unique abilities used by Jinchurikis and tailed beasts. They involve huge amounts of chakra condensed into a ball similar to a Rasengan. Although the versions used by Jinchurikis are much smaller and weaker compared to those used by tailed beasts, they still possess enough power to be high-level jutsu.
While the official chapter hasn't come out, a sneak peek of Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 revealed that Himawari could indeed use Tailed Beast Bombs. This surprised many fans since only Jinchurikis with a considerable amount of training could use Tailed Beast Bombs in the original series.
2) Highspeed Regeneration
Being able to heal injuries has always been an integral part of being an elite shinobi, and Jinchurikis naturally have faster recovery than normal shinobi, as established in the Naruto series.
Blue Vortex chapter 10 revealed Himawari's new status as a Jinchuriki but also depicted Jura breaking one of Himawari's legs to pacify her. Chapter 11 gave a sneak peek that revealed Himawari shooting a Tailed Beast Bomb at Jura while standing upright with her broken leg fully healed. This essentially confirmed fast regeneration as one of her abilities.
3) Increased Physical Prowess
Himawari has always displayed superior skills compared to her peers in the anime. Although her being a descendant of the Uzumaki and Hyuga clans ties in with many of her skills, Kurama's involvement enhances her physical abilities. Chapter 10 confirmed her increased physical prowess when she broke free from Jura's wood-style enclosure after entering a partial-tailed beast mode.
4) Chakra Cloak
The chakra cloak has always been one of Naruto's most recognizable abilities ever since he befriended Kurama. Although Himawari does not have a visible chakra cloak yet, her hair standing up and concentrating chakra into the Tailed Beast Bomb signifies that Kurama's chakra is already being used in a lesser version of the chakra cloak. Future chapters may see her using a fully realized cloak resembling that of her father.
