Gyutaro from Demon Slayer was one of the strongest Upper Moon Demons and the final opponent of Tengen Uzui, whom the Sound Hashira faced before retiring. Unfortunately, Gyutaro died after his fight against the Sound Hashira and there were numerous reasons behind it: the major one being his sister, Daki, who continuously kept distracting him by demanding he protect her.
Gyutaro shared the position of the Upper Moon Six demon with his sister but he could be the real demon entitled to this position due to his battle IQ and fighting skills centered around his Blood Demon Arts: Blood Manipulation. Moreover, his demon body could also produce poison, which was a game-changer in battle.

Demon Slayer: Exploring the potential of Gyutaro, the final opponent of Tengen Uzui
Gyutaro was introduced during the Demon Slayer second season (Entertainment District Arc) when Tengen Uzui, the Sound Hashira, beheaded Daki. Gyutaro popped from Daki's back and immediately knocked away the Sound Hashira. He and Daki were siblings and shared the title of the Upper Moon Six of the Twelve Kazuki Demons.
Being one of the Twelve Kizuki in Demon Slayer, Gyutaro's physical build was extraordinary, unlike that of any human or low-ranking demon, so slashing him was a challenge. Moreover, his battle IQ was also nothing to underestimate as he used every intel he could gather from the time he was inside Daki, making him one of the strongest demons in the series.
Being a demon, he also possessed basic abilities like unreal regenerative capabilities and immense speed. A unique ability Gyutaro possessed was Core Detachment, which allowed him to attach one of his eyes to Daki, giving him a more refined vision of the battlefield, similar to the Six Paths of Pain from Naruto.
Another unique strength in his arsenal was the production of a lethal poison capable of killing a person in minutes. This poison affected even people like the Sound Hashira and Inosuke, who had natural resistance to poisons.
Lastly, the cream of the crops in his abilities was his Blood Demon Art: Blood Manipulation. As it sounds, it gave Gyutaro the ability to solidify his blood and make weapons and attacks, just like how he did against the Sound Hashira in battle. His primary weapon, the flesh kama, was forged through his Blood Demon Art.
Out of all the blood demon art techniques, "Rotating Circular Slashes: Flying Blood Sickles" was the most lethal one. The technique sent numerous slashes of blood at Gyutaro's opponent, covering almost all the blindspots for a perfect slash. During the last exchange of slashes with the Sound Hashira, Tanjiro finally beheads the Upper Moon Six, marking his demise.
Exploring Gyutaro as the winner against Uzui
Throughout the battle, Gyutaro's biggest concern was keeping his sister, Daki, safe from getting beheaded. So, he sometimes even had to change opponents and rush to her help, preventing her from dying. Unfortunately, these two were beheaded at the same time, giving Gyutaro no time to save her.
However, things could have turned out differently if Gyutaro alone was the Upper Moon Six demon as he wouldn't have any concerns about protecting someone and would have gone all out against Tengen. This would have resulted in the demise of Tanjiro's side, marking Gyutaro's win.
