Hunter x Hunter Chapter 401 spoilers and raw scans have been released, showcasing some of the finest panels by mangaka Yoshihiro Togashi. After a long break since Chapter 400 in December 2022, the manga has finally returned. It is continuing with the Succession Contest Arc.

Hunter x Hunter Chapter 401 spoilers properly begin with Kurapika, Longhi, and others gathered in a room numbered 1014 on Tuesday, which is the 10th day.

They begin by discussing the safety of Fifth Prince Tubeppa Hui Guo Rou amidst the ongoing tensions in the country. Longhi admits that she is not helpful in combat situations. Kurapika, on the other hand, draws his gun and shows his determination to use it if necessary.

Longhi continues to explain how contracts can hinder a person from performing certain actions and using their abilities. She has to reveal everything truthfully before getting someone to sign it. She also promises Kurapika some powers if he joins her.

Kurapika then questions Longhi about her true goal. Longhi shocks everyone by revealing that she is the daughter of Beyond Netero. She explains that Beyond conceived her as part of his plan to infiltrate the Kakin Royal Family. She was raised as a soldier’s daughter, and this process was repeated with others who later became royal guards and aides to the Princes.

While most of Beyond’s children were unaware of their true origins, Longhi was informed by her adoptive parents. Moreover, she became aware of her being a Nen user from a very young age.

Hunter x Hunter chapter 401 spoilers then reveal that Beyond had cursed his twenty children to kill specific targets, the Kakin Princes, upon their deaths. They were his sacrifices. This was done because he wanted one of his children, whom Longhi believes is a Prince, to succeed.

However, she clarifies that it is not Prince Benjamin. Oito reveals that to participate in the Succession Contest, one must be the legitimate child of Nasubi’s wife, but they do not necessarily have to have blood ties to Nasubi.

Hunter x Hunter Chapter 401 spoilers then reveal the contract between Kurapika and Tubeppa. The contract stipulates that they will not interfere with each other’s Princes, Queens, or Soldiers. The contract will automatically extend if Tubeppa’s representative shows up in Room 1014 by nine o'clock in the morning next Sunday. If the contract is broken, the punishment is one week of enforced Zetsu.

Kurapika and Longhi now have the task of finding Beyond’s child before either Tubeppa withdraws from the contest or until only two Princes remain. Longhi is particularly determined to kill Beyond’s child. After she leaves, Kurapika informs the Nen class members that the peace talks have failed as they did not reach an agreement, although Furykov is skeptical.
