I Have a Crush at Work episode 1 begins with the two main characters dating in secret. Soon, Tateishi encounters people at his workplace who like to gossip. We can see that he’s uncomfortable with this. We are introduced to his colleagues, and that’s when Mitsuya made her entrance. She is quite rude to him and causes a scene, all in the hopes that no one would suspect the two being in a relationship.

The episode then shows Mitsuya and Tateishi having a busy week and being unable to see each other. They receive their first test as the two encounter each other in the elevator. Tateishi’s boss has a conversation with these two and they maintain their cover through the conversation. Following this, the couple goes to a movie for a date and comes across their work trainer.

He treats them to a meal and proceeds to go his way. However, the interaction is quite tense as Mitsuya attempts to hide her relationship with Tateishi while the latter tries to mask his pangs of jealousy. It ends on a good note as the couple spend quality time together and are finally on a first-name basis.

What to expect in I Have a Crush at Work episode 2?

Based on what we saw in the first episode, I Have a Crush at Work episode 2 will follow the episodic format. The upcoming episode will present the couple with a new set of obstacles to surpass.
