This romantic comedy manga series follows the story of Tsukasa Atsumi, a regular salaryman who is attacked by a demon one night and saved by Shizuri Ideura, a genius Kunoichi. The two strike up a master-servant contract under which Shizuri becomes Tsukasa's bodyguard in exchange for getting to live with him.

Tsukasa soon realizes that despite her proficiency in battle, Shizuri is a lazy Otaku NEET who spends all her free time playing video games. Thus, Tsukasa using his homemaking skills pampers Shizuri, while she continues to protect him from harm as her bodyguard.

The anime adaptation is being produced by Quad, with Hisashi Saito at the helm as director, Takashi Aoshima writing the script, and Masahiko Suzuki handling the character design. Shigeru Chiba is in charge of narrating the series.

The main voice cast for the anime series includes Hinaki Yano as Shizuri Ideura, Shōya Ishige as Tsukasa Atsumi, Fairouz Ai as Ayame Momochi, Sho Nogami as Tōru Nakayama, Manatsu Murakami as Himari Asakura, and Yui Horie as Saya Hazuki.

CMJK composed the music for the series. The opening theme, Neet In Jam, was performed by Real Akiba Boyz featuring Shoko Nakagawa. Hinaki Yano performed the ending theme, NEETopia. The talented cast and crew inspire hope in fans for a faithful and exciting adaptation.
