I'm Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? episode 2 begins with the introduction of Hina Izumi, a low-level ninja from Shizuri's village. Shortly after Hina's introduction, a power outage occurs in Tsukasa's house. Hina apologizes for the inconvenience and asks for Shizuri's help.

The bad weather outside causes a potted plant to fall on Hina’s head, followed by a larger utensil, emphasizing her bad luck. Tsukasa’s phone also suddenly cracks, and Shizuri mentions that Hina’s bad luck affects everyone around her. Hina then tells Shizuri that she has broken a taboo of the ninja village by accidentally falling in love with her current master.

Through tears, Hina laments that someone like her doesn’t deserve to be by her master’s side. She explains that she'd tried to suppress her feelings, believing it would bring trouble to her master. However, Shizuri reassures her that this isn't true. Shizuri's words encourage Hina, and she requests to become her disciple.

This is followed by Hina and Shizuri fighting Yoma demons, with Hina’s beginner-level ninjutsu attacks easily being deflected by the demons. As she deals with the mid-level demon, Shizuri is seen quickly dispatching the multiple weaker minions.

It is then revealed that because Hina violated the taboo of loving her own master, the ninja village demands she cancel her master-servant contract and be replaced. If she refuses, she must leave the village. However, being a low-level kunoichi, she cannot fight the powerful demons without the village’s support.

The scene returns to the battle, where Hina is overpowered by the demon. Shizuri notes that Hina's physical techniques are bad and only her beginner-level ninjutsu is effective. When Hina tries intermediate ninjutsu, the fireball she conjures nearly hits Shizuri. Shizuri then explains that Hina’s bad luck limits her to performing only beginner-level ninjutsu.

Seeing a demon charging toward them, Shizuri quickly cuts it down. She then tells Hina that her power is definitely above that of a mid-level ninja, seeing the damage caused by the fireball she cast before. Shizuri explains that to improve as a kunoichi, Hina needs to have more confidence in her skills.

Shizuri starts to faint from exhaustion but is caught by Tsukasa just in time. Seeing her in this condition, Hina apologizes, saying it’s her fault Shizuri got hurt and that she won’t trouble her anymore. While they’re talking, Hina's master, Toru, arrives, expressing his concern for Hina and mentioning that he was even slightly burned by the fireball she cast.

Toru tells Hina not to overdo it and that he’s just glad she’s worked so hard for him. Watching them, Tsukasa comments to Shizuri that the two of them are a bit like them. At that moment, a demon from earlier rises and charges at Toru. However, Hina, using all her strength with beginner-level ninjutsu, manages to pulverize the demon. The impact, however, catches Shizuri, and she’s slightly burned.

I'm Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? episode 2 then shifts to Tsukasa and Shizuri in his apartment, with Shizuri having barricaded the door to prevent other kunoichi from interrupting her video game session. After locking the door, Shizuri goes right back to playing her game, despite Tsukasa urging her to get some sleep since she hasn't slept in three days.

However, Shizuri refuses, saying that as a NEET gamer, she was interrupted twice and must now pass the level at all costs. Tsukasa is then called back to work, and when he turns to tell this to Shizuri, he sees that she has already fallen asleep. As he heads back to work, he gets ambushed by Ayame, who asks him to cancel the contract with Shizuri, threatening to chop off his limbs if he doesn't.

This is when Ayame gets attacked by a Yoma after the protection charm Shizuri gave Tsukasa is torn during their commotion. The attack makes Ayame ecstatic, revealing that she is a masochist who enjoys feeling pain. However, this leaves Tsukasa in danger, as he's now unprotected, with Shizuri sound asleep at home, unable to answer his call.

Despite her injuries, Ayame manages to land a fireball on the demon. She seems pleased with the hit and remarks that she cannot believe a low-level demon could be so powerful. She then defeats the demon with a single strike. However, as she turns her back, another, more powerful demon appears.

The demon attacks Ayame with fierce punches, but this only seems to excite her further. Despite being a masochist, she admits that she is completely overpowered and says that this demon might be a high-level one. Pushed to her limit, she uses her ultimate ninjutsu, which obliterates the demon. The bright light emitted by the jutsu also wakes Shizuri from her sleep.

When the dust settles, it is revealed that Ayame is actually a psychopathic boy who dresses as a kunoichi. Tsukasa asks him why he pretends to be female, to which Ayame replies that he cannot accept having the face of a woman and the body of a man. He then adds that he cannot stand the filth brought by the male part of his body.

Ayame then begs Tsukasa not to let Shizuri find out the truth. At that moment, Shizuri arrives and questions Ayame's actions. To avoid the awkward situation, Ayame hugs Tsukasa, enraging Shizuri. She orders Ayame to take her hands off Tsukasa immediately, but Ayame insists she cannot.

To diffuse Shizuri's anger, Tsukasa explains that Ayame can't move and recounts how he was attacked by a demon, during which his phone was broken. He adds that Ayame appeared, defeated the demon, and likely depleted her powers in the process, leaving her unable to move.

Seizing the opportunity, Ayame puts the fake chest balls back in place to maintain her disguise as a woman. She apologizes to Shizuri and takes her leave, keeping her secret intact. I'm Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? episode 2 ends with Ayame walking away as Shizuri and Tsukasa watch her go.
