I'm an S-Rank Behemoth episode 1 will premiere on December 28, 2024, at 11:00 pm JST and will be one of the first anime of the Winter 2025 anime season to be released. Multiple networks in Japan, including Tokyo MX, will broadcast the episode.

The series will mainly adopt the "I'm a Behemoth, an S-Ranked Monster, but Mistaken for a Cat, I Live as an Elf Girl's Pet" light novel and will be Winter 2025's premier seinen comedy anime. The series is currently being produced by both Studio Zero-G and Saber Works.

I'm an S-Rank Behemoth anime will be the direct adaptation of the I'm a Behemoth, an S-Ranked Monster, but Mistaken for a Cat, I Live as an Elf Girl's Pet light novel. The light novel is written by Nozomi Ginyoku and illustrated by Mitsuki Yano. The series currently has 12 volumes released, 11 of which have been translated into English.

The story follows Tama, a former knight, as he finds himself reincarnated as a cat and decides to accompany Aria, an elf adventurer. The story follows an episodic storytelling style in its initial stages and focuses a lot on fanservice.

Studio ZERO-G is currently producing in collaboration with Saber Works. Studio ZERO-G has previously animated series like Grand Blue Dreaming and the recent Mysterious Disappearances anime. On the other hand, Saber Works is a relatively new studio, with I'm an S-Rank Behemoth being its first anime.
