I Parry Everything episode 12 started with Noor strolling around the ruins of his hometown. He noted how the once lively town had been reduced to rubble, and rebuilding would take time. While wandering through the ruins, Noor encountered adventurers, triggering memories of his journey before becoming an adventurer.

The flashback revisited his encounters with the Six Sovereigns and his time spent in each of their schools, where he faced rejection every time. Noor’s first stop was the swordsman school, where he met Sig. Impressed by Noor’s determination, Sig took him in and demonstrated a difficult swordsmanship skill upon Noor’s request.

Despite Sig’s amazement that Noor couldn't perceive his movements, Noor surprised him by describing his "perfect rhythm" during the seemingly unperceivable skill. Realizing Noor’s hidden potential, Sig trained him rigorously. However, after months of training, Sig lamented that Noor could only learn the parry skill, believing that even a modestly decent skill would have made Noor one of the strongest swordsmen.

Sig then instructed Noor to leave and try other schools to unlock his potential. Noor continued through various schools of swordsmanship, archery, sorcery, and as a vanguard but was asked to leave due to his inability to acquire any skills despite his apparent talent.

Noor finally demonstrated his talent at the healing school, where he learned "low heal" without the blessing of spirits or undergoing a special ceremony. The healer, Sein, was shocked but still advised Noor to seek out other schools. Eventually, all Six Sovereigns learned that Noor had been rejected from their schools and left the capital.

They vowed to nurture Noor’s talent through collaboration. The flashback ends as Noor resumes clearing rubble, and the episode concludes with King Clays discussing an alliance with the Magic Kingdom in the previous war.

Final thoughts

I Parry Everything episode 12 made it clear that the Six Sovereigns did not outright reject Noor, but they simply led him to other schools, hoping to unlock his true potential. This further supports the idea that Noor was overpowered from the beginning.

I Parry Everything episode 12 is the final episode of the series. Although season 2 has not been announced yet, there is enough light novel material for a second season, which might be confirmed in a few months.
