Synopsis of If My Wife Becomes an Elementary School Student

TsumaSho is a rom-com story centered around the office worker Keisuke Niijima. Ten years ago, Keisuke lost his wife, Takae Nijima, in an accident, going into an emotional crisis afterward. As he spent his entire life dependent on his wife's care, his lifestyle changed completely and he gave up on achieving anything in life.

Moreover, he also lost his connection with Mai Niijima, his daughter, who was the only reminder of his late wife. Even though these two lived together, their lives were separated through their rooms, and the only time the father-daughter duo sat together was to have lunches, which were also store-bought.

One day, while having their store-bought lunches at home, someone rang the bell of their main door. Upon opening the door, Keisuke and Mai realized that they had been visited by an unknown elementary school student named Marika Shiraishi.
