Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga has been nothing short of entertaining so far. However, one of the issues with this title is its release schedule. Fans have to wait for a month before another chapter is released. Given the current stakes, fans are getting restless, resulting in many fan theories.
One such theory surrounds Himawari Uzumaki, who recently developed a massive power-up. She was always sidelined in the manga, and it seems like she finally managed to get the screen time she deserved.
This fan theory, in particular, states how Himawari Uzumaki not only has the potential to become far stronger but also attain the status of divinity, much like the Otsutsuki God. The theory revolves around the meaning of her name, a concept created by an Italian Mathematician and the Shibai Otsutsuki.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex fan theory attempts to explain how Himawari Uzumaki could become an Otsutsuki God
Before we get into this theory, certain important points need to be covered. The first point is the meaning of her name. Himawari, in Japanese, stands for Sunflower. This was also the reason why there was a Sunflower on her shirt in one of the recent manga chapter covers. This point is, in turn, connected to two elements, one of them being the Fibonacci sequence.
The Fibonacci Sequence is a simple sequence wherein any number is the sum of its two consecutive previous numbers. This sequence also has a visual representation called the Fibonacci Spiral or the Golden Spiral.
One of the reasons why this sequence and its visual representation are important is due to the sheer abundance of natural elements that exhibit these properties. Many entities in nature follow the Fibonacci Spiral concept, and therefore, this concept is also referred to as the Divine Signatures.
If we take a look at a Sunflower, it follows the Fibonacci Spiral. Fans have reason to believe this connection is a subtle hint from Mikio Ikemoto and Masashi Kishimoto, showing that Himawari was destined for divinity. The only divine entity that we know of is Shibai Otsutsuki. Another interesting observation fans have made is the connection between a Sunflower and Shibai Otsutsuki.
The Otstsuki God has numerous Jogan and distinct patterns in which the eyes are arranged. This pattern is incredibly similar to the arrangement of the seeds in a Sunflower, which led to fans believing that Two Blue Vortex might have special plans for Himawari.
The Fibonacci Sequence, also called the Divine Sequence, is also connected to Himawari. This further led the fanbase to believe that Himawari would have Shinjutsu abilities that could give her the power of creation.
Should this be the case, fans are in for a rollercoaster ride, as stakes have never been higher before. However, the manga would have to find a way to make Boruto far stronger since he is the series's protagonist. We urge the fanbase to patiently wait for the upcoming set of chapters to confirm this.
Stay tuned for more anime and manga news as 2024 progresses.
