The chemistry between the two is undeniable, even though Asa initially had an ulterior motive for wanting to get together with Denji.

Asa Mitaka and Denji's relationship in Chainsaw Man is a complex one. Recent developments in the manga have placed the chances of their romantic union in jeopardy.

However, chapter 168 of the manga provided the official confirmation fans had been waiting for. In this chapter, Yoru admitted to Denji that Asa was indeed in love with him, and it was her feelings that led Yoru to kiss Denji.

The first confirmation of Asa's feelings for Denji occurred after their disastrous first date when Yoru commented that Asa was experiencing feelings of love for Denji. Asa’s feelings became even more apparent when she showed visible anger upon believing that Denji did not reciprocate her affection. This reaction followed Yoru’s failure to turn him into a weapon.

The two shared their first kiss in chapter 119, although Yoru momentarily took control of Asa's body to kiss Denji and turn him into a weapon. Furthermore, in chapter 149, Denji admitted to Nayuta that he liked and deeply cared for Asa since her first kiss with him was the only one that didn't traumatize him.

Lastly, another chapter that reaffirmed Asa's feelings for Denji was chapter 161, where she discovered that the latter actually was Chainsaw Man. Asa developed a crush on Chainsaw Man after he rescued her from the Falling Devil, where Denji had first referred to her as his "ex-potential girlfriend."

Asa Mitaka and Denji first met in chapter 104 of the Chainsaw Man manga, where the latter tried to impress the former by claiming that he was Chainsaw Man. However, their first meeting ended in a disaster, as Asa didn't believe Denji's words and called him a 'loser' for trying to impersonate Chainsaw Man.

However, a few chapters later, Asa planned to take Denji out on a date with the intention of making him fall for her, so that she could turn him into a powerful weapon. Although their date didn't start off in the best way possible, the two eventually started to bond after being trapped in an aquarium by Fami and the Eternity Devil.

They visibly enjoyed each other's presence while running around the aquarium. At one point, Denji claimed that he loved Asa's mannerisms, as it reminded him of an old friend (Power). Despite a rough first date, the two later agreed to go on a second date at Denji's home, which became a major turning point in their relationship.

It became clear during their second date that Asa and Denji had started developing feelings for each other. Even though this date ended in disaster as well, it gave fans a sliver of hope that Denji may have finally found a love interest with whom he could live a happy life one day.

Despite everything the two characters go through over the course of the series, it is undeniable that Asa and Denji share a strong bond.

Although it's uncertain whether Asa and Denji will end up together in the near future given the current state of the manga, fans hope for a happy ending for the beloved characters.
