What is Solo Leveling about?

In the gripping narrative of Solo Leveling, an enigmatic monster phenomenon has besieged the world. Random dungeons materialize globally, unleashing monsters upon unsuspecting citizens if not promptly closed.

To deal with this unprecedented situation, hunters take the center stage to fight these monsters and save their world.

Hunters are individuals who awakened extraordinary abilities precisely tailored for combating these malevolent creatures and sealing the dungeons. These formidable warriors vary in levels and skills, forming a diverse line of defense against the encroaching darkness. And once a hunter has awakened, they can never increase their level, no matter how much they train.

At the heart of this tale is Sung Jin Woo, an E-rank Hunter whose abilities barely surpass those of an ordinary human. Despite facing injury each time he steps into a dungeon, Jin Woo perseveres, driven by the urgent need to earn money for his ailing mother's hospital bills and his sister's school tuition.

Everything changes when he stumbles upon a surprise double dungeon. After he manages to come out of the double dungeon alive, he realizes that he has gained a strange power that allows him to level up by completing tasks, like a character in a video game.

With this newfound powers, he starts his journey of becoming the strongest hunter and save his world from the dangers that lie ahead.
