JoJoLands chapter 16 is set to release on Friday, June 19, 2024 JST according to the official website for Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine. With chapter 15 confirming that an enemy Stand user is indeed afoot, fans are anticipating an action-packed issue to be in the June release of Ultra Jump.
However, with Shueisha’s Ultra Jump serialization still having no free online reading availability, JoJoLands chapter 16 may be difficult to find for international fans. While this is a speculative claim, it's a sensible one considering the impact a similar approach has had on series such as Berserk.
Nevertheless, fans are still excited to see how Jodio and co’s adventures in Hawai’i continue, even if it means being told what happens rather than reading the issue for themselves. Read on for the latest release information for JoJoLands chapter 16, as well as speculations on what to expect from it.
JoJoLands chapter 16 release date
JoJoLands chapter 16 is set to release on Friday, June 19, 2024 JST. As mentioned above, there's unfortunately no release time for the series, thanks to the lack of an official, free-to-read online source.
Likewise, there’s no international release date and times to discuss due to this reality.
JoJoLands chapter 16 where to read
As such, the best option fans are left with is to buy a copy of the fourth volume for the series, which JoJoLands chapter 16 should be a part of, in terms of legal reading opportunities.
Many independent manga websites publish unofficial translations of individual chapters regularly. However, these are typically considered illegal releases from unofficial sources and can often be proven inaccurate from an officially translated release.
JoJoLands chapter 15 recap
JoJoLands chapter 15 began immediately where the previous issue ended. Charmingman asserted that Usagi must be on drugs, as his symptoms mimic that of an overdose.
Usagi then choked out some words asking Dragona to turn his Matte Kudasai Stand into a straw. After he did so, Usagi grabbed a boxcutter from his backpack, cutting into his lung and shoving the straw inside to create an airway to breathe through.
At this point, Jodio and Paco pulled up in the getaway car, with everyone getting inside. As the others discussed what happened, Usagi was able to discover that an enemy Stand was attacking him.
However, no one else believed him, partially due to Charmingman’s constant assertions that Usagi was a lying junkie who had just been caught. Jodio said that they should consider all angles as an ambulance pulled up, seemingly for Usagi.
However, it was actually for the woman who had shown Usagi, Dragona and Charmingman the paper copies of the land deeds in the previous issue. She was suffering the same symptoms as Usagi, confirming that there was indeed an enemy Stand attacking.
Charmingman then apologized to Usagi and said that he respected him while using his Stand, Bigmouth Strikes Again, to turn his eye into dust and send it into Usagi’s body via the straw.
Here, Charmingman confirmed the Stand attack for himself and was able to restrain the Stand by surrounding it with his dust. However, he began to suffer the same symptoms as Usagi as a result of contacting it, causing the others to tell him to stop.
Jodio then noticed Dragona, who was unconscious and foaming at the mouth with the same symptoms. The issue ended with the reveal of the receptionist woman being the daughter of a congressman investigating Howler.
JoJoLands chapter 16 what to expect (speculative)
Considering what the previous issue decides to end with, JoJoLands chapter 16 is almost certain to reveal that the receptionist who helped Usagi and co was the real target all along.
That would also explain why Usagi was affected by the symptoms before Dragona was, as he was closest to the receptionist when they sat at a table reviewing the land deeds.
Chapter 16 will also likely reveal who the enemy Stand user is, giving Jodio and Paco a target to chase in the hopes of saving their three teammates from their current fates. The issue will likely end on this reveal, setting up the subsequent release as the start to this two-on-one fight.
