JoJoLands chapter 18 is set to release on Monday, August 19, 2024, JST, according to the official website for Shueisha’s Ultra Jump magazine. Following chapter 17’s introduction of Acca Howler and his yet-named Stand, fans are anxious to see where the series goes in its next issue.

However, with Shueisha’s Ultra Jump serialization still having no free online reading availability, JoJoLands chapter 18 may be difficult to find for international fans. JoJoLands chapter 17 began by introducing Acca Howler of Howler Corp., characterizing him as an affluent and excessive man. Howler then deboarded his private jet in Honolulu and learned of the government-issued seizure of his lands.

The men informing him were also of a bank that lent him 38 billion dollars, which they were eager to collect immediately. After they left, Howler began taking steps to get in touch with Bobby Jean as his Stand was revealed, but not named or used.

The focus then shifted to Bobby Jean and Lulu, who were in the parking lot of the hospital Jodio and co were at as they continued to search for the group. As they argued about what their objective was, Lulu got frustrated and damaged a car. However, it became apparent that what was really bothering her was the fact that Dragona defeated her Stand. The two then decided to head to the hospital under the assumption that Jodio and the others would be looking for an MRI room.

The issue then focused on Jodio and the others, who found that both of the hospital’s MRI rooms were being occupied. They then decided to use Usagi’s Matte Kudasai Stand to recreate an MRI machine, asking him for it as is needed for its activation. However, as blood spilled out of Usagi’s ears, it became clear he was beyond being of any help to them. As this happened, Bobby and Lulu entered the MRI floor, where they got a call from Acca Howler.

Acca asked Lulu to recover a Lava Rock from Jodio and co after killing them, also commenting on its mechanics which showed he does know what it is. Lulu then informed Bobby of it being okay to kill Jodio and co, prompting him to equip a silencer to his gun and summon his Glory Days Stand. The issue ended with Jodio and co being riddled by bullets which were able to vanish in and out of sight and change their velocity, presumably due to Glory Days’ ability.

What to expect from JoJoLands chapter 18 (speculative)

With Acca Howler having already appeared, fans are expecting him to continue being a focus in JoJoLands chapter 18 and beyond. However, it’s more likely that chapter 18 solely concerns itself with Jodio and co, who are now severely injured thanks to Bobby Jean and Glory Days’ apparent ability.

Chapter 18 should also see Lola attempt to finish off Usagi, but be stopped somehow either by his own Stand’s use or some unpredictable plan. This should then give Usagi the opportunity to save the others somehow, allowing them to mount a comeback and defeat their pair of pursuers in the subsequent issue.
