Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 is set to be released on September 16, 2024, but the spoilers for the chapter have already been unveiled. The chapter was not as jam-packed with action as the previous chapters because the King of Curses had already died, but it still had plot twists, some of which the fandom was expecting and some that were out of the blue.

According to the chapter's spoilers, Okkotsu Yuta and Higuruma are still alive, leaving the fandom dumbfounded. Yuta transferred his consciousness inside Gojo, leaving no chance of his survival, and Higuruma 'seemingly' died before the protagonist at the hands of the antagonist. However, with the survival of the two sorcerers, the chances of Gojo's return are bleak again.

Okkotsu Yuta and Higuruma confirmed alive after Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 spoilers

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 spoilers revealed that Okkotsu Yuta could return to his body after the fight against Sukuna. The reason behind this was that Rika, the cursed spirit, was continuously supplying Yuta's body with a reverse-cursed technique, preventing it from rotting like any dead body.

However, the reason his soul transferred back wasn't revealed. On the other hand, Higuruma was also revealed to be alive, and the gauntlet Yuji was using against Sukuna after the 'supposed' death of Higurama was one of Yuta's cursed tools. However, Higuruma's whereabouts weren't revealed.

After getting Higuruma to join his side during the Culling Game arc, his support proved crucial to the Jujutsu sorcerers because he jumped onto the field after Sukuna killed Gojo Satoru. After entering the field, Higuruma immediately activated his domain expansion: death sentencing, and put Sukuna in the suspect corner.

Trying his best to deactivate the King of Curses' cursed technique, he couldn't do anything and only managed to destroy Kamutoke. Sukuna later delivered a lethal blow on Higuruma, who passed Yuji the last executioner sword and was transported back to Jujutsu Tech. This executioner sword was not Higuruma's but Yuta's, as revealed by Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 spoilers.

After taking care of Kenjaku, Okkotsu Yuta entered the battle against Sukuna, assisted by Yuji. The battle opened with Yuta expanding his domain expansion: authentic mutual love and giving the King of Curses a run for his money. However, the antagonist dicovered his blind spot, cutting his body in half, as he did with Gojo.

After this, Yuta was immediately transported back to Jujutsu Tech, where, before dying, he transported his consciousness inside the dead Gojo using Kenjaku's cursed technique and re-entered the battlefield as the Honored One.

This time, he gravely injured the King of Curses until Gojo's body gave in, and Yuta was rendered motionless. As of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 spoilers, Yuta's soul returned to his original body and is still alive.

With Gege giving two of the fan-favorite characters another chance to live, all eyes are now on the return of Gojo Satoru, the most popular fan-favorite character, whose chances of return are the bleakest because his soul passed onto the afterlife. However, with characters like Nobara, Kusakabe, and many others making it alive to the end, it wouldn't be wrong to expect Gojo's return.
