With the series’ last-second break weeks due to author and illustrator Gege Akutami’s health issues now seemingly over, fans expect Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 to be a triumphant return for the series. However, this triumphant return may not bring with it the victory fans are hoping for in the form of Ryomen Sukuna’s defeat at the hands of Yuta Okkotsu (who has taken over Satoru Gojo’s body).
Note: Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 263 Spoilers are now OUT
Unfortunately, verifiable spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263’s events are unavailable as of this article’s writing. While they should be coming out later this week with the break now over, recent anti-manga piracy efforts in Japan could see the spoiler process go defunct at any point without warning. This includes during this release week for chapter 263.
That being said, thankfully, there are some aspects of and events within Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 that fans can count on being present even without the help of verifiable spoilers. This includes a focus on Yuta and Sukuna’s struggle against each other, as well as an update on Rika’s status and why she has fully manifested at this point.
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 likely to see the beginning of the end for both Yuta and Sukuna
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 will likely begin with a continued focus on Rika, possibly setting up future developments regarding Yuta’s survival after his five minutes of Copy time are up. This should then shift into Yuta versus Sukuna, where the two will likely still be within the shrunken Unlimited Void Domain Expansion.
Sukuna should be shown as having the upper hand here, either by nature of Yuta’s lack of skill with Gojo’s body and techniques, or lack of knowledge of how Gojo’s first shrunken Domain battle went. In either scenario, this should transition into the reveal that Yuta’s mastery over Kenjaku’s Cursed Technique is anything but, leading to deficiencies in its use that Kenjaku didn’t have.
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 will likely see Sukuna begin to recognize this, likewise adjusting his tactics to prioritize moves that Yuta either doesn’t know about or can’t dodge with his current skill. This may include the use of additional Binding Vows, which may not have provided an advantage against Gojo himself but may prove beneficial given Yuta’s inexperience here.
The focus should shift at this point to Yuji and Todo, who will likely still be outside the Domain and debating what they should do. Todo will likely stand firm in his belief that waiting is their best option, especially since he can have an opportunity to save Yuta in Gojo’s body if the Domain breaks and Sukuna is about to attack. Yuji will likely be fine with this specifically, but feel uneasy about sitting idly by in general.
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 will likely see Todo say there’s nothing they can do since neither has a Domain Expansion anyway, at which point Yuji will likely grow quiet. Todo should notice this and begin slowly realizing that Yuji may have his Domain Expansion after all, but be interrupted by the collapse of Unlimited Void.
At this point, fans should get their answer to what happens at the end of the five minutes of Copy time. Regardless of the answer, fans can expect to see Yuta on death’s door following the fight with Sukuna inside Unlimited Void. The issue will likely end with Yuji and Todo scrambling to save Yuta as Sukuna launches the killing blow, ending on a major cliffhanger where Yuta’s life hangs in the balance.
