Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 264 recap
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 264 began with Sukuna punching the ground beneath him to send rubble flying up into the sky, which he then used to ascend Jacob’s Ladder vertically. Upon reaching the top, he was about to take out Hana Kurusu, but Aoi Todo appeared and took the brunt of the impact.
Sukuna acknowledged Todo as a true jujutsu sorcerer before concerning himself with Yuji, who also climbed Jacob’s Ladder to chase Sukuna and was about to hit him.
After Yuji got a couple of hits, Sukuna began to reclaim the advantage after regrowing his arms via Reverse Cursed Technique, which he regained from the Black Flash he hit on Todo. Sukuna then began fighting much more defensively as Yuji chased after him, recognizing that Yuji’s ability was meaningless if he couldn’t hit him with it. This led to a flashback to Satoru Gojo teaching Yuji about Domain Expansions while fighting Jogo.
Gojo explained that Domain Expansions consume tons of Cursed Energy but offer perks like a stat boost and the guaranteed hit effect. Yuji then unleashed his Domain Expansion, as the narrator revealed he learned the basics of barriers via Switch Training with Atsuya Kusakabe.
Sukuna then reverted to his “Yujikuna” form as he found himself in a train station. The issue ended with Yuji, who was healed of injuries and told Sukuna to go with him.
What to expect from Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 265? (Speculative)
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 265 will be titled That Day. As seen in the previous chapter where Yuji expanded his domain, the next chapter will likely see an explanation of how this domain works. Moreover, there are chances of Yuji being confused about his domain because just like his newly awakened cursed technique, his domain might be immature and need some work to be a proper one.
Moreover, the chapter might also see the actions and reactions of Ryomen Sukuna inside the domain of his previous host. Frankly, nothing can be said about the next chapter except that it will be centered around a whole new domain expansion, so the most fans can do is speculate as to what it could be. However, as the domain expansion might be based on the first opening of the anime, there might be hints.
