😂 Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 was expected to reveal the life status of the special-grade sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu and see all the sorcerers of Jujutsu Tech unite after the demise of Ryomen Sukuna. Surprisingly, Yuta was already present in his original body as Maki was scolding him for taking things lightly and not planning his actions against the King of Curses properly.
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 also saw everyone confess their mistakes to stop Maki from chewing out Yuta, which ended up working. The chapter also revealed that Higuruma was alive and revealed the dark secret behind Simple Domain's Binding Vow.
The technique was restricted to a specific school and the head of the school applied this vow to rob users of their lifespans.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Yuta gets chewed out by Maki as everyone confess to their blunders during the final fight
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269: Yuta is saved but not from Maki's wrath
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 was titled Reflection and commenced with Mei Mei visiting a local candy shop which was owned by an old man, asking him about the price of a packet of candies.
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 then returned to where it left off in the previous chapter where Maki was screaming at Yuta, giving fans the impression that she was mourning his death.
However, the reality was the opposite as Yuta was already present in his true body and was being yelled at by Maki for not planning his actions properly against Sukuna.
The main protagonist trio then entered the room as Maki asked Megumi how he was feeling. He told her that he was feeling the aftereffects of getting hit by Gojo's Infinite Void.
Yuji and Megumi then tried to take over the room with their apologies but Kusakabe stopped them and claimed that all of this happened due to the blunders of the grown-ups.
Moreover, he also demanded that Yuji and Megumi act like brats because they were young.
The focus then shifted to Yuta who was asked why he was still alive inside his own body. The special-grade sorcerer revealed that all of this was possible because, after Shoko stitched his body together, Rika kept it supplied with ample reverse cursed technique.
This prevented it from rotting and gave Yuta a return ticket, even though he considered himself dead after using Kenjaku's cursed technique.
Mei Mei and Kusakabe added that Kenjaku could also have access to some previous users whose bodies were preserved. Yuta added that after Gojo's body gave up on him, he went into a state of 'suspended animation.' However, after connecting with his external source (his true body), his soul managed to transfer back to his original body.
Still, Maki wasn't satisfied and pointed out two decisions that were flawed. The first one was that instead of Yuta, Maki should have delivered the finishing blow on Kenjaku as Yuta should have been against Sukuna at that time.
The second was how the voice recorder should have been used when Higuruma was fighting Sukuna because it would have ended the antagonist in a flash.
Aoi interrupted her and stated that she was not the 'ideal' target for his new Boogie Woogie cursed technique. Moreover, Yuta's power was necessary to deal with the outburst of cursed spirits that were released after Kenjaku died.
On the other hand, Panda explained that if they had used cursed speech during Higuruma's battle (when Sukuna was in top form), Inumaki would have died from the impact.
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 then revealed Higuruma standing beside Yuji (confirming that he was also alive). Higuruma revealed that he decided to use Inumaki's cursed speech in the fight between Yuta and Sukuna because the King of Curses could easily defeat Higuruma anyway.
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269: Everyone supports Yuta to back Maki off
After her allegations were proven wrong, she brought the abroad sorcerers into question (Miguel and company) stating that if they had arrived earlier, Sukuna's defeat would have been easier.
Yuta explained how the assistance of the abroad sorcerers was a blessing in disguise as they weren't ready to enter the battlefield, but Maki stood unfazed. Itadori jumped in and stated that it was due to Yuta's cursed tools that he was able to hide his fingers.
However, Maki beat every claim Yuji was trying to make. Hakari then also entered the discussion and stated that it was due to Rika that everyone was able to jump into the battlefield after Gojo's demise (as they were all inside Rika the whole time).
This started a chain reaction and everyone started apologizing. Aoi apologized for not helping Choso and Yuji with his Boogie Woogie, which resulted in the demise of Choso.
Kirara mentioned that she also couldn't do much because of Sukuna's thick cursed energy, the same reason Ino also couldn't do much. Yuji ended the talk by stating that it was no one's fault. Maki, now embarrassed, punched Yuta in the chest and forgave him.
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269: The secret behind New Shadow Style - Simple Domain's Binding Vow unveiled
After everyone confessed to their sins, Ui Ui broke the ice by stating that he was the MVP of the final fight against Sukuna but Kirara tried to take this title. Kusakabe then shifted his criticism on Mei Mei, stating that while her brother was saving lives, she was relaxing somewhere.
Ui Ui stated that her rest was hard-earned because she worked hard to solve the 'New Shadow Style' issue.
Kusakabe then explained this issue to everyone. During the fight against Ryomen Sukuna, it was revealed that a Binding Vow was needed to activate Simple Domain.
Kusakabe added that the original creator of this anti-domain technique, Ashiya Sadatsuna, applied this Binding Vow so that the technique could only be accessible to the New Shadow Style School members.
Kusakabe further explained that the Binding Vow was implemented so that the head of the school could 'potentially' rob its users of their lifespan.
Although this wasn't confirmed, as several old folks were still alive after using this anti-domain technique, the crux of the issue was that no one knew who the head of the school was.
On Mei Mei's cue, Kusakabe revealed how he was currently, the head of the school (as the strongest student from the school would inherit it after the death of the head), and the issue of robbing others' lifespans was already solved.
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 then returned to the starting scene of Mei Mei inside a candy shop, revealing that the old man, the owner, was the head of the New Shadow Style School.
She revealed that Tengen revealed the old man's location and how the latter wanted to take over the Jujutsu Society by robbing others of their lifespan and becoming eternal.
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 269 ended with Mei Mei killing the old man, which made Kusakabe the next head of the school.
Final thoughts
Even though Yuta's survival was somewhat 'controversial,' it is still good to see how the Jujutsu Tech could be going back to the old days after the demise of the series' main antagonist.
While the future still remains uncertain about Gojo's survival, considering how many sorcerers the author is bringing back to life, the Honored One could also make a return in 'some form.'
