The alleged Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 271 spoilers were supposed to reveal the conclusion of the manga series. Needless to say, while the alleged spoilers revealed just that, the manga chapter's developments were far from what fans expected from the series.

The manga's previous chapter revealed what each character was up to after the Shinjuku Showdown. As for Megumi, he decorated Tsumiki's grave with Shoko and later joined Yuji and Nobara for a mission. They found a woman who envisioned her fiance with a different face there.

The alleged Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 271 spoilers picked up from where the previous chapter ended as Kugisaki Nobara revealed how she could not feel the seal or the influence of any technique on the girl. This meant that the one who had cast the curse was someone skilled. As a result, the three Jujutsu Sorcerers try to figure out from what distance and from where the technique could have been activated.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 271 spoilers then show Nobara suggesting they go somewhere far away so that the technique stops working, to which Itadori agrees. However, Megumi doesn't agree with the plan. Instead, he tries to come up with a plan to figure out who the curse user is.

The Jujutsu Sorcerers share some thoughts about the coordinates of the cursed technique's radius and act accordingly. Soon after, the curse's effects disappear, allowing the woman to finally see her fiance's face as normal again. At that very moment, the three Jujutsu sorcerers begin to feel the presence of the technique's caster and reach its location.

Upon being caught, the caster revealed that he had once purchased a bag for the woman. However, when he later found out about her relationship, he tried to get revenge by messing with her. This conversation saw Yuji remember the exchange he once had with Gojo.

Yuji wanted to do switch training with Gojo. While the Six Eyes user was fine with it, he wanted someone to forget Gojo and become an altogether different yet strong sorcerer. Yuji was certain that no one would be able to forget Gojo. Upon hearing this, Satoru Gojo called Yuji "young" and "naive" and expressed that he had high hopes for him.

Similarly, Yuji expressed to the caster that he had high hopes for him. He wanted the caster to reflect on his actions and join them in their next mission as a sorcerer.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 271 spoilers then switched to Ryomen Sukuna and Mahito as they met each other in the afterlife. Mahito questioned Sukuna's actions and the intentions behind them. Mahito believed that Sukuna did what he did to take revenge on the people who turned him into such a being.

In response, Sukuna revealed that he only did what he did because that was his only choice. Soon after, he retorted his statement, stating that he did have two paths - Yorozu and Uraume. While previously he had picked Yorozu's path, after being defeated by the Jujutsu Sorcerers, he no longer wished to take the same path. Hence, Sukuna chose the new path alongside Uraume.

Mahito was enraged at this as he was the only one yet to choose a path and kept sulking.

Moreover, as fans hoped for, the manga did not announce a sequel series, leaving fans comparing the series' ending to the highly controversial Tokyo Revengers ending.
