Over the years, there have been quite a few comparisons between a powerful technique used by Jujutsu Kaisen characters called Domain Expansion, and Bankai, the final upgraded form of a Zanpakuto, which can only be achieved by some of the strongest characters in Bleach.

These powerful techniques act as complete game-changers during intense battles, which are capable of turning the tide of the fight in favor of their user. Given the striking similarities between Bankai and Doman Expansions, there have been several discussions within the anime community, about which Jujutsu Kaisen characters would be able to achieve a Bankai in Bleach.

Considering that whoever makes use of either of the techniques is one of the strongest characters in their respective series, it would not be too hard to narrow down the characters from Jujutsu Kasien who could potentially achieve a Bankai. With that in mind, let us look at the 10 Jujutsu Kaisen characters who can unlock a Bankai in Bleach.

1) Satoru Gojo

As the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer of the modern era, Satoru Gojo is undoubtedly the ideal candidate for achieving a Bankai. His immense cursed energy, overwhelming physical power, and mastery over the Six Eyes and Limitless cursed technique make him one of the strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen, second only to Ryomen Sukuna.

Given that Gojo possesses perhaps the most powerful Domain Expansion in the entirety of the series, it's only fair to assume that he could achieve a powerful Bankai as well, which could enhance his current abilities to a whole different level.

2) Ryomen Sukuna

Following his decisive victory over Satoru Gojo in the Shinjuku Showdown arc, Ryomen Sukuna etched his name as the strongest character in Jujutsu Kaisen. Even after being severely weakened by Gojo, Sukuna was levels above the entire Jujutsu Kaisen cast.

As such, it's pretty much a given that Sukuna would be able to achieve a powerful Bankai in Bleach, which would amplify his inherent malevolence and allow him to dominate any battlefield with overwhelming ease.

3) Toji Fushiguro

Although he wasn't able to achieve a Domain Expansion in Jujutsu Kaisen due to his Heavenly Restriction, Toji Fushiguro relied on pure physical prowess and combat skills to become feared in the Jujutsu society as the Sorcerer Killer.

In fact, he is often considered to be one of the strongest characters in the series, given that he is the only man other than Sukuna who killed Satoru Gojo, or at least, pushed him to the brink of death. As such, it's easy to see why Toji Fushiguro is a promising candidate for achieving a Bankai, which could further enhance his physical capabilities and overwhelming power.

4) Yuta Okkotsu

In Jujutsu Kaisen, Yuta Okkotsu is considered to be the strongest Jujutsu sorcerer of the modern era, second only to Satoru Gojo. In the Culling Game arc, Yuta proved his strength by regaining his Special Grade license in a matter of three months, and also fought and defeated several powerful sorcerers from the past.

Some of his greatest feats include going up against Ryomen Sukuna twice in the recent final battle in the manga and being one of the few sorcerers who inflicted heavy damage on the King of Curses. Yuta also possesses one of the most powerful cursed techniques and Domain Expansions in the entirety of the series, which pretty much guarantees him achieving a Bankai in Bleach.

5) Kinji Hakari

Making his debut in the Culling Game arc, Kinji Hakari was soon recognized as one of the strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. While Hakari does not necessarily possess a vast range of powerful techniques, what makes him truly powerful, is his Domain Expansion - Idle Death Gamble.

It is a pachinko-themed domain, whereupon hitting a jackpot, Hakari becomes effectively immortal for 4 minutes and 11 seconds due to the unlimited cursed energy surging through his body. As such, it would only make sense for Hakari to receive an equally powerful and unstable Bankai in Bleach, making him one of the strongest characters.

6) Maki Zen'in

Following the Shibuya Incident arc, Maki Zen'in went through a major awakening, where she ascended to the level of Toji Fushiguro, if not higher. Her awakening was a result of her sister Mai sacrificing herself, which removed the last traces of cursed energy inside Maki and enhanced her physical capabilities by a huge margin.

She was powerful enough to go toe-to-toe against Sukuna and even inflict some major damage on the King of Curses, as she not only stabbed him through the heart but also pushed him back with her pure strength. Therefore, similar to Toji, Maki would also be able to achieve a Bankai, that could further enhance her pre-existing capabilities.

7) Yuki Tsukumo

Before Satoru Gojo went through his awakening, Yuki Tsukumo was recognized as the strongest jujutsu sorcerer of the modern era, and for good reason. Her innate cursed technique, Star Rage, allowed her to add virtual mass to either herself or her shikigami, which gives her an overwhelming amount of destructive force.

However, her most powerful attack was her ability to transform into a literal black hole by using her cursed technique, which had the potential to destroy the entire world. Therefore, Yuki's pure strength and immensely powerful abilities make her eligible to achieve a Bankai.

8) Kenjaku (Suguru Geto)

Kenjaku, a thousand-year-old sorcerer and master manipulator from the Heian Era, is undoubtedly one of the strongest characters in Jujutsu Kaisen. His vast arsenal of cursed techniques, including Suguru Geto's Maximum: Uzumaki technique and Kaori Itadori's Antigravity System, allowed him to defeat Yuki and even survive the black hole she created with her final breath.

Apart from his cursed techniques, Kenjaku's vast knowledge of Jujutsu sorcery and cunning nature make him a force to be reckoned with. As such, it's easy to see why Kenjaku is an ideal candidate for achieving his own Bankai.

9) Yuji Itadori

Yuji Itadori has showcased a tremendous amount of growth in his capabilities as a Jujutsu sorcerer in the Shinjuku Showdown arc of the manga. In a short amount of time, he was able to gain proficiency in powerful abilities like Reverse Cursed Technique, Blood Manipulation, Simple Domain, and Sukuna's Shrine cursed technique.

What's more, he even managed to unlock his own Domain Expansion in the recent chapters of the manga, which helped him put a definitive end to Sukuna. As such, Yuji's limitless potential makes him one of the most deserving candidates for achieving a Bankai.

10) Megumi Fushiguro

Apart from possessing one of the most powerful cursed techniques in the entire series - the Ten Shadows, Megumi Fushiguro also has an effective yet incomplete Domain Expansion, called the Chimera Shadow Garden, which improves the potential of his innate technique up to 120%, despite lacking a sure-hit function.

Megumi is undoubtedly one of the many Jujutsu Kaisen characters who never truly got to realize his full potential, despite being named as one of the few people who could surpass Satoru Gojo. As such, Megumi might be capable of achieving a Bankai as well, which could further amplify his abilities and help him reach his full potential.

Every character in the Akutami's magnum opus are capable sorcerers and have their own strengths. However, only a selected few characters like Satoru Gojo, Ryomen Sukuna, Yuta Okkotsu, among others from Gege Akutami's Jujutsu Kaisen could likely achieve a Bankai.
