Yuji Itadori is one of the few Jujutsu Kaisen characters to have more losses than wins under their belt. While many of his early losses could be attributed to his lack of training and familiarity with Cursed Energy, the recent chapters have displayed the astronomical amount of growth that Yuji Itadori has gone through.
Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 also solidified Yuji as one of the few higher-level sorcerers to have achieved a Domain Expansion. While the actual functioning and details of his domain expansion aren't yet known, it has been made clear that the current Yuji Itadori is exponentially stronger compared to his previous iterations.
The fact that Yuji Itadori now has access to blood manipulation, simple domain, dismantle, and presumably cleave as well,l has made many fans wonder about Jujutsu Kaisen characters that the current Yuji can defeat.

Finger Bearer, Choso, Mahito, and 4 other Jujutsu Kaisen characters that current Yuji can defeat
1) Finger Bearer
The Finger Bearer was one of the first and one of the strongest cursed spirits introduced during the early parts of the story. While the first-ever Finger Bearer was the strongest curse that Megumi, Nobara, and Yuji had ever faced, this curse also marked Yuji's first instance of giving up control to Sukuna.
Given that the current Yuji has access to reverse cursed technique and is much more skilled in combat, with actual means to harm opponents via his piercing blood and dismantle techniques, it becomes obvious that the Finger Bearers will be the easiest opponents Yuji has ever faced.
2) Choso
Choso has been established as Yuji’s “big brother” and one of the few genuine relationships he has left. However, Choso was still one of Yuji’s most formidable enemies during the Shibuya Incident arc.
Although the fight between Yuji and Choso seemed to be on equal footing, it was later revealed that Yuji was completely outmatched by Choso. The current Yuji, possessing abilities identical to Choso’s along with a domain expansion, superior battle IQ, and greater destructive capability, would win in a fight against Choso.
3) Mahito
Mahito was the main antagonist of the series until the end of the Shibuya Incident arc and has directly antagonized Yuji on various occasions. While much of the Shibuya Incident arc focused on Yuji becoming ruthless toward Mahito, Yuji needed Todo’s involvement to have a chance against Mahito.
The current Yuji, with access to dismantle techniques that can directly damage Mahito's soul, as well as a more determined and fierce mentality, would win in every scenario against Mahito.
4) Nanami
Kento Nanami served as Yuji’s mentor for most of the Jujutsu Kaisen story. Although he was established as a high-ranking Grade A sorcerer, Nanami's feats of superhuman strength, speed, endurance, and tenacity during the Shibuya Incident arc and his earlier fight against Mahito were impressive.
The current Yuji has surpassed Nanami in every single aspect. While the Yuji before the soul swap training and his ability to utilize binding vows would have lost to Nanami due to Nanami’s superior intellect and experience, the current Yuji would be able to defeat Nanami using his domain expansion alone.
5) Hanami
Hanami is one of the Disaster Curses and served as an antagonist during the earlier parts of the story. Although Hanami’s fight against Yuji and Todo demonstrated that they could somewhat corner him, Yuji alone would not have been able to do so.
Hanami has shown durability, coming out almost unscathed after fighting all of the Tokyo and Kyoto students. However, the current Yuji can bypass conventional durability by targeting souls directly through his attacks. With superior battle IQ, higher destructive capabilities, and the ability to use simple domains or domain expansions to counter Hanami’s techniques, the current Yuji outmatches Hanami.
In the worst-case scenario where Hanami dwarfs Yuji in overall cursed energy output and power, Yuji can repeatedly hit her with black flashes and exploit its exponential buffing capabilities to reach her level.
6) Naoya Zenin and Cursed Spirit Naoya
Naoya Zenin is one of the few Jujutsu Kaisen characters who is universally disliked. Although his projection sorcery and ability to increase his speed make him appear overpowered on paper, his attacks would not significantly impact Yuji, who now has superhuman durability complemented by reverse cursed technique.
Even if Yuji were to fight cursed spirit Naoya, Naoya would not be able to harm Yuji in a meaningful way, as Yuji can use reverse cursed technique with remarkable efficiency and can overpower Naoya in a domain battle to secure a win.
7) Todo
Todo and Yuji first met during the Kyoto Goodwill Event arc, and since then, they have been considered one of the strongest duos in Jujutsu Kaisen. As a duo, they are unmatched due to their synergy and Todo’s IQ of 530,000, which controls the tempo of their fights.
However, a fight between Yuji and Todo would be one of the most unpredictable in the series. Todo’s technique is one of the simplest but most powerful, primarily due to how he utilizes it. Yuji’s access to reverse cursed technique and superhuman durability means Todo would struggle to damage Yuji significantly.
At the same time, Yuji would find it difficult to confront Todo directly due to Todo’s Boogie Woogie technique, which allows him to teleport 50 times per second. The match would likely come down to a battle of attrition, with Yuji eventually using his domain expansion to defeat Todo once Todo is unable to use Boogie Woogie.
Final Thoughts
The details around Yuji's domain and its inner workings and specifications will be revealed in Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 264. Chapter 263 will be officially released on July 28 and will be available for reading on Shueisha's MANGA Plus platform.
