Jujutsu Kaisen has been a wild ride, beginning with the events in chapter 1. About 270 chapters later, we are finally close to an emphatic conclusion. With a seemingly sudden decision by creator Gege Akutami to end the series soon, the fandom was intrigued as to how the author would wrap things up quickly. Needless to say, it wasn't in any expected way, as we received yet another curveball.
The spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 271 were released a little while ago and depict the end of the series. The trio of Yuji Itadori, Nobara Kugisaki, and Megumi Fushiguro investigated a Curse, and fans finally received a glimpse of Gojo Satoru, though it was in a flashback.
But it was the last bit that threw fans off — the chapter ends with a shot of Ryomen Sukuna's final finger in its original location. Could this be a hint at his possible revival?

Jujutsu Kaisen: Series ends with biggest Sukuna revival teaser
Spoilers for Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 271 ended on a note no one expected. It seems Akutami has cleverly slipped in a panel that has caused a stir in the fandom. To be specific, the spoilers end with the final panel depicting the Demon King's final finger in a box in the same booth where it was found in chapter 1.
This is likely the biggest hint/teaser to Sukuna's revival. Through such a move, Akutami probably wants to show that the story ends in a full circle. Fans will remember that this is exactly how Jujutsu Kaisen began — a Special Grade Object was stolen and later came into the possession of the Sugisawa Town High School's Occult Club.
In a series of unfortunate events, Yuji was forced to swallow the finger, leading to the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna, being incarnated in Yuji's body. The rest is history. It is certainly odd that the series would end on this note, with the finger being returned to where it was stolen from.
But even so, this is a strong sign that Sukuna was never truly defeated despite being taken down. As long as his finger existed, there was every possible chance of Sukuna's revival. Of course, it is highly unlikely that the finger isn't better guarded and/or under close watch this time.
However, just like last time, anything can happen. True to the series' lore, Sukuna's power was too great, so the finger could not be destroyed. This is a testament to the antagonist's looming presence and the overarching threat that he could return at any time.
However, even if he does incarnate, capable sorcerers are ready to face him and protect the world if needed. Yuji has reached a whole new level from where he started, in addition to having access to Sukuna's Shrine Technique. While the full extent of Megumi's abilities is unknown at this time, being under Sukuna's control could have given him an immense power boost. Nobara, too, is back, and her Cursed Technique is one to be feared.
With Gojo gone, Yuta is likely the strongest around, along with other incredibly powerful sorcerers in Maki, Todo, Panda, Kusakabe, and more. Gojo's dream of raising strong students to be his allies became a reality, and even though he isn't around, the world will be safe in the presence of these individuals.
