Jujutsu Kaisen's story is centered around many different characters, with Yuji at the center of it all. While Yuji is the series's protagonist, Sukuna, Gojo, and Megumi also play an integral role in the story's foundation.
The 16 extra-page epilogue released within volume 30 cleared many misconceptions regarding the characters and their relationships while providing closure to most of the cast.
Nobara, Ozawa, Panda, and Uraume were the main focus of the epilogues. But Megumi, one of the most prominent characters in the series, did not receive any focus, leading many fans to question, "Where's the Megumi epilogue." Few fans have also mentioned how a Megumi epilogue could've resolved many issues with his character and the social disarray after the collapse of the three clans.

Jujutsu Kaisen: A Megumi epilogue could've solved many unresolved plot points
Megumi Fushiguro, introduced in the first chapter of the series, was one of the protagonists who pushed the story forward alongside Yuji Itadori. Like the protagonist, Megumi experienced numerous hurdles during his training arc. However, his role was sidelined after Sukuna took over his body.
Gojo practically raised Megumi after killing his father, Toji, but Megumi did not know this. The fact that Gojo killed Megumi's father is revealed in chapter 270 of the manga, and the entire ordeal is resolved without much dialogue.
Megumi's cursed technique, which served as his main tool for combat, was also reduced to a much more primitive state by Sukuna. The Zenin clan, which Maki massacred, was also left unaddressed, especially since Megumi had been dubbed the clan head and in charge of its treasury following its fall.
Many narrative threads surrounding Megumi were left unresolved, even though most of them could have been summed up in an epilogue depicting his actual state after Sukuna's fall. Panda's epilogue made it clear that the jujutsu clans survived well into the future. Still, it left many questions regarding the state of Megumi, Yuji, Inumaki, and the other great powers in the story.
Fan reaction to the absence of a Megumi epilogue
A few fans mentioned how the situation for Gojo and Megumi fans is getting more desperate every day since Gege has practically ignored both characters. Many others also mentioned how Gege must hate Megumi, especially since Panda's epilogue could have been switched for a Megumi epilogue.
"Instead of a necessary epilogue for megumi, epilogue for panda yeah," one fan said.
"megumi got no new content in the epilogue gege HATES that mfer 💀💀💀💀💀💀." another fan said.
A few others blamed Gege, as the announcement of the epilogue raised the hopes of many Megumi fans, only to have Megumi not mentioned at all. One fan also mentioned how Gege must have shifted his target of hate from Gojo to Megumi since the former died in chapter 236.
"fkn gg raising my hopes up with the epilogue when there's not a single new thing about megumi 😔." one fan wrote.
"Gege switching his target to Megumi now that Gojo is dead," another fan wrote.
The Jujutsu Kaisen manga ended with 271 chapters, compiled into 30 individual volumes. Megumi's last appearance was in the last few chapters, where he spent time with Yuji and Nobara soon after visiting Tsumiki Fushiguro's grave.
Although Megumi managed to survive, many of the shikigami, which made up the basis of his combat prowess, were destroyed. While no information focusing on Megumi was revealed in the manga, it is still possible that the anime adaptation expands upon the present material and delivers a much more comprehensive epilogue.
