Shoko Ieiri from Jujutsu Kaisen is one of the most innovative cursed sorcerers from Jujutsu Tech. She is well known for her mastery of reverse cursed technique, due to which she was also a doctor at the Jujutsu Tech School. Moreover, she was also the classmate of the strongest sorcerers, Gojo and Geto, making her one of the most special characters of the series.

Shoko is also one of the easiest characters to cosplay because the only thing a person needs to cosplay her is a costume, a wig, and a cigarette prop. However, nailing this character's looks is not easy, which is what the Reddit user (@leeklinnn) did and surprised the fandom with how accurately she resembled the doctor of Jujutsu High.

The Reddit user cosplayed Shoko Ieiri from the Hidden Inventory arc when she was a student of Masamichi Yaga's class alongside her two other classmates, Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru. As already emphasized in the title, the Reddit user's cosplay looked like the real deal.

The Reddit user also tried imitating some of her scenes from the arc's start, which also looked just like the source material. To top it off, the last picture the Reddit user uploaded was of the entire class, as she was accompanied by two other cosplayers who were cosplaying Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru.

As expected, the fandom immediately praised the accuracy of the cosplay by appreciating the dead eyes of the cosplayer. These eyes were a trademark on Shoko and the cosplayer nailed it. A fan continued the joke by asking whether the cosplayer had to skip a few days of sleep to imitate Shoko's dead eyes.

Ironically, another fan asked the cosplayer to say a famous line of Shoko from the Hidden Inventory arc when she comforted Utahime and stated she wasn't trash like her classmates (Gojo and Geto). Lastly, a fan wanted to see whether the cosplayer's long hair would fit Utahime's adult personality, as much as it did for the Jujutsu Kaisen character's young persona.

Shoko Ieiri in Jujutsu Kaisen

Shoko Ieiri is one of the supporting characters of the series introduced after Itadori was killed on his first mission against the special-grade cursed spirit. On first looks, Ieiri looked like a character who hardly cared about anything, but the series did emphasize that she had close ties with Gojo Satoru.

During the Hidden Inventory arc, Ieiri's young persona was revealed. She often comforted Utahime, her senior, after being teased by Gojo and Geto. However, her personality was the same in her high school days as well as in her adult life. One prominent act of Ieiri, which was fond of was smoking cigarettes, which was a habit she continued till the end of the series.

Final thoughts

Cosplaying is certainly an art that takes hard work and dedication, but sometimes, the natural looks of a person play a key role in the final result, just like it did in the cosplay for Shoko Ieiri because her face shape looked very similar to the Jujutsu Kaisen character.
