While it has only been about two weeks since Gege Akutami's Jujutsu Kaisen manga ended, fans have already begun missing the series. This is especially evident from the way they still talk about the series online, making it go viral around every Thursday.
That said, not all fans have a similar perspective about the manga following its end. While some fans love the way the series concluded, others did not like it and wish it was different. Taking this into consideration, some Jujutsu Kaisen fans have taken it upon themselves to create a new ending for the series.

Jujutsu Kaisen fans set to release new manga to fix the ending
As revealed by a new account on X @jujutsunokaisen, a group of Jujutsu Kaisen fans have taken on a project to retell the ending of the original Gege Akutami series. Considering that not everyone likes the original ending from the manga, the team has decided to draw a new ending for the series, starting from Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 236.
The new manga ending is seemingly set to contain exciting and wonderful plotlines. Moreover, the team has assured fans that they will focus on writing the characters perfectly and drawing with high quality. With that, the team revealed that the new manga will be called Jujutsu no Kaisen.
All fans have to do is follow the team on their official social media profiles to learn more about their release. For now, the team has only revealed the publish date for the new manga's first chapter.
Jujutsu no Kaisen chapter 1 will be published on Wednesday, January 1, 2025. Fans should note that it will not really be a new manga but one that continues the story of the original series starting from chapter 236.
As fans might remember, the manga's infamous chapter 236 revealed Satoru Gojo's death at the hands of the King of Curses, Ryomen Sukuna. Given that the majority of the chapter focused on Gojo's afterlife, there is a good chance that the new manga will rewrite the death scene or even peculiarly make it so that Gojo never died in the first place.
In addition, fans can expect to see the new manga try and flesh out its characters even better. As one might remember, Nobara Kugisaki's return, Hakari vs. Uraume, etc. were heavily criticized. Hence, the new manga will likely focus on them. In addition, there also lies a small chance that the new manga will further elaborate on Kenjaku's Merger plan and explain details surrounding Yuji Itadori's domain.
But as any fan would know, such a series is not licensed. Therefore, if the manga were to get popular, there is a chance that Shueisha could take legal action against the team and have the project shut down before it even closes in on its conclusion. Hence, it would be best for fans to not heavily indulge in the same.
