Suguru Geto, who was once a close ally of Satoru Gojo, and his transformation from a gifted sorcerer to a notorious rival have captivated fans of Jujutsu Kaisen. His descent into disgrace and his subsequent deeds have been crucial to the plot, making him one of the most significant figures in the series. The details of his Domain Expansion remained a mystery for a long time despite his prominence, which fueled discussions and fan theories.

In the world of Jujutsu Kaisen, Domain Expansions stand for the pinnacle of a sorcerer's power. Among the many intriguing characters in the series, Suguru Geto stands out as a complex and formidable figure. Geto's Domain Expansion has long been the subject of fan speculation, but a convincing theory suggests that Geto's Domain Expansion could be "Womb Profusion."

Why Womb Profusion makes sense as Suguru Geto’s Domain Expansion in Jujutsu Kaisen

Given Geto's abilities and character, the theory that his Domain Expansion is "Womb Profusion" makes perfect sense. Womb Profusion is a special Domain Expansion that can unleash a potent, sure-hit attack without enclosing a barrier. This aligns with Geto’s innovative and strategic approach to combat, showcasing his ability to think outside the box and utilize his powers in unconventional ways.

One of the key pieces of evidence supporting this theory is the fact that someone can use the Domain Expansion of the person whose body they have taken over by using Kenjaku's Cursed Technique. This was demonstrated when Yuta used Unlimited Void against Sukuna. This precedent suggests that Kenjaku, who took over Geto’s body, did use Geto’s Domain Expansion, which is Womb Profusion.

This indicates that it's most certainly possible, even though it doesn't prove that Geto’s domain is Womb Profusion. In Jujutsu Kaisen 0, there were always doubts about Geto's plan, particularly his confidence that he could defeat Gojo with Rika at his side.

Given his close relationship with Gojo, Geto would be well aware of Gojo’s abilities. It seems overly optimistic of him to think that Yuta's copy ability and bottomless CT—which he believed were solely Rika's doing—would be sufficient to overcome Gojo. Even Kenjaku shared this misconception, thinking Yuta lost those abilities after losing Rika.

Geto's possible possession of an open barrier domain may have contributed to his confidence in defeating Gojo. Gojo’s extremely powerful domain, Unlimited Void, has only been outdone once in Jujutsu Kaisen, and that was against Sukuna’s open barrier, Malevolent Shrine.

Malevolent Shrine's open barrier allowed it to attack Gojo's domain from the outside, breaking it apart and eradicating Gojo's Cursed Technique. This unprecedented conflict illustrated the advantages of an open barrier domain over an enclosed one.

With this knowledge, it makes sense that Geto thought the secret to taking down Gojo might lie in an open barrier domain such as Womb Profusion. The ability to bypass traditional barriers and directly impact the target would be a significant advantage, fitting in with Geto's strategic thinking and unwavering pursuit of power in Jujutsu Kaisen.

Geto would have limitless access to cursed energy from Rika, which would enable him to use his domain as often as necessary and all of her other abilities, including the ones she copied. Geto would then have access to a vast array of abilities, except Limitless.

Additionally, Rika’s physical prowess would serve as a powerful second body in combat. Her strength might be the decisive factor in a tie between Geto and Gojo if both of them were at a standstill and had exhausted their Cursed Techniques, enabling Geto to defeat Gojo even if his custom domain failed.

What prevented Geto from using this domain against Yuta could be linked to several factors. It might be because of a binding vow he used to create an enormous amount of cursed energy to make his domain open barrier. Another possibility is that his curses from Cursed Spirit Manipulation were split in half and not all were present.

On the other hand, Geto may have underestimated Yuta, believing that it would be excessive to use the domain against a child who had just recently learned Jujutsu.

In conclusion, Geto's strategy becomes much more logical when one considers Jujutsu Kaisen 0 and views Womb Profusion as his Domain Expansion. It no longer seems like a reckless gamble but rather a calculated move that could have worked if he hadn’t underestimated Yuta’s true power.

Although domains were not introduced explicitly in Jujutsu Kaisen 0, this retrospective analysis aids in the retelling of a narrative that is consistent with the plotline.
