Jujutsu Kaisen climax is considered one of the biggest disappointments amongst the fandom because it failed to clarify key points they were expecting. However, there are other elements of the story that fans didn't appreciate as much, even though these moments are considered some of the best ones from most fans' perspectives.
On November 14, 2024, an X user (@JohnnySpittin) shared the panel from the series where Nobara returned to confront Sukuna. This moment was crucial for the sorcerers' triumph against the King of Curses, as her cursed technique immobilized Sukuna. However, the X user wasn't fond of this scene and titled it something that he couldn't believe the fandom let the author get away with.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Exploring how the fandom wasn't a fan of Nobara's return
In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 267, Sukuna saw that Itadori was missing one of his fingers and recalled the time when the protagonist had asked him about his last finger. After thinking, the King of Curses deduced that Yuta must have used Itadori's finger to copy Shrine, leaving the whereabouts of his last finger still unknown.
The focus then shifted to a facility where Gakuganji and Utahime were standing before Sukuna's last finger. Nobara was also present, having woken up just a few minutes before. Without hesitation, she joined the battle by hitting Sukuna's finger with her cursed technique (Resonance).
This immobilized the King of Curses and gave Itadori a chance to deliver the final Black Flash on the antagonist. Although Nobara's return was crucial to the defeat of Sukuna, some fans didn't fancy her return solely because they didn't consider her a powerful opponent who could take Sukuna down.
However, since her intervention was essential to Sukuna's defeat, some fans considered Nobara's return an element that Gege Akutami fumbled about which he would never be forgiven.
Reaction from the fandom
The fandom agreed with the X user's opinion and even stated that they were glad that finally someone talked about this issue. Nobara's return was titled the day some fans knew the author stopped paying attention to Jujutsu Kaisen. Moreover, one fan even stated that the return of the female character might be the reason for the series becoming forgetful.
Lastly, a fan didn't hold back anything and explained why Nobara didn't deserve the spotlight she got against Sukuna. They emphasized that Nobara just wasn't a good character, and one of the reasons behind this was her attitude (which has no relationship with power scaling). The central point the fan wanted to emphasize was that the King of Curses deserved to win.
"That was the night i knew gege stopped giving a f*ck," a fan said.
"I'm glad people are finally realising, how a*s this was," another one said.
"This is why jjk will be forgotten," another fan said.
"This was dog sh*t, and people were like " Ohho my goat Nobara came back" Nobora is one of the few trash who carried by dog sh*t attitude, she is such trash you can even forget that trash exists in the JJK. Sukuna should have won," another one claimed.
Final thoughts
As expected, take this article with a grain of salt, as it is entirely based on some fans' opinions. Nobara is considered one of the strongest characters from the series solely due to her overpowered cursed technique, and where there are roses, thorns are also bound to come. So, the best way to cope with this is to respect opinions and believe facts (which are given through the series' events).
