Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 264 is set to be released on July 29, 2024, but the spoilers for the chapter have already been unveiled and showcased Yuji's Domain Expansion, satisfying every fan who was waiting for this moment. The protagonist's domain expansion consisted of a train station where Sukuna stood dumbfounded.

This achievement was possible through the teachings of Gojo Satoru and Kusakabe as the former taught the protagonist the concept and importance of this ultimate move.

On the other hand, Kusakabe taught Yuji the proper working of domain expansion, which was what made the protagonist capable of using this ultimate move against the King of Curses.

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 264 spoilers commenced where the previous chapter left off as Hana Kurusu's Jacob's Ladder was evaded by the King of Curses and now the latter went for the kill.

Fortunately, Aoi Todo jumped in and saved her from dying at the hands of Ryomen Sukuna.

Just as Sukuna was focused on these two, Itadori Yuji jumped into the air and grabbed Sukuna. He smashed his body into a building and tried using his Shrine cursed technique to overpower the King of Curses.

Ryomen Sukuna had, fortunately, regained his reverse-cursed technique (RCT) and had now regenerated both of his hands, but avoided going all-out at once. He assumed that Yuji's Dismantle could only affect the boundary between the physical body and soul, so his body wasn't in danger anymore.

To the despair of the King of Curses, Itadori Yuji made the hand sign for his domain expansion. The chapter's spoilers also showcased a brief flashback where Gojo taught Yuji about the basic principle of domain expansion and Kusalabe taught him about the working of this technique.

Yuji's domain expansion was a train station in the middle of which Sukuna stood surprised. Although the chapter didn't reveal much about the workings of Yuji's domain expansion, the hopes of the demise of the final antagonist of Jujutsu Kaisen are again on the roof.

Yuji's domain expansion explored

As most fans should already be aware, Yuji has the same cursed technique as Ryomen Sukuna, meaning the working of their domain expansions could also be the same. But Yuji's cursed technique is immature as compared to the King of Curses so there could be some differences.

Sukuna's domain expansion, Malevolent Shrine, is one of the most unique domain expansions in Jujutsu Kaisen because it doesn't have a boundary.

So, Yuji's train station domain expansion could have a boundary such that his cursed technique would only be a sure hit inside the train station.

Final thoughts

After the battle of domains against Okkotsu Yuta, Ryomen Sukuna could now enter a battle against the domain expansion of Itadori Yuji. Moreover, as Sukuna is in an injured state, his domain expansion could be more or less at the same level as Yuji's.

However, it couldn't be said if Yuji's Shrine is completely awakened because as of this chapter, he had only used cleave and dismantle.

Divine Flames are a key part of Shrine which Yuji hasn't awakened yet so it could be the deciding factor in the battle between the protagonist and the antagonist.
