Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 (chapter 262.5) is set to be released on July 6, 2024, and the spoilers have given no update regarding Uraume vs Hakari, making their fight controversial for the fandom.

The chapter continued Yuta's efforts to defeat the King of Curses. The cursed sorcerer was starting to feel the toll from the foreign body he had invaded and the antagonist was taking full advantage of it. As Sukuna was thinking of delivering the final blow on Yuta, the sorcerer threw a recorder towards the antagonist, that had Inumaki's cursed technique stored in it, which stopped Sukuna.

Where Inumaki's arrival was considered out-of-the-blue, the fandom showed their distaste over getting no update regarding the other fight between Uraume and Hakari. The fight started after the battle of the strongest and so far, there is no telling who has the upper hand in this fight, thus drowning out the hype around it and making it questionable.

According to the spoilers of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 (chapter 262.5), the chapter commenced with Yuta feeling the toll from Gojo's Satoru's body as he started facing difficulty against the King of Curses. This made him appreciate how strong his teacher was when he was alive and how he took on the burden of being the strongest alone.

Witnessing Yuta confused, Sukuna took this chance to attack him and started thinking about his next move. After a lot of thinking, Sukuna concluded that he could be using Hollow Purple and stopped Yuta from making its signs. Yuta threw a recorder at Sukuna, which had Inumaki's cursed technique inside it, forcing Sukuna to stop.

Amidst all this, it is strange to think that there is another battle going on between two strong sorcerers and the author has given close to no information about it yet, the Uraume vs Hakari showdown.

The battle between these two sorcerers started in Jujutsu Kaiseni chapter 237 after the demise of Gojo Satoru at the hands of the King of Curses. Hakari instantly challenged Uraume to a battle of domains and stopped him from interfering in the main battle anymore.

After the arrival of Itadori and Higorama, Hakari took his battle to a separate sight where it wouldn't affect his friends. The battle continued with Hakari and Uraume fighting toe-to-toe. Uraume appreciated Hakari's regenerative capacity, which was due to his domain expansion: Idle Death Gamble.

But as chapters passed, the manga decreased the spotlight on their battle and started to completely focus on the main battle between the sorcerers and the King of Curses. In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 259, after Sukuna activated his Divine Flames, a brief glimpse of Uraume vs Hakari was showcased where Uraume declared the victory of their side.

Since then, there has been no update regarding whether Hakari or Uraume has the upper hand in the battle. Yes, the battle with Sukuna is of key importance to the final arc of the series, but as there is another battle going on, between two of the strongest sorcerers of the series, it also needs some spotlight.

Moreover, a fight with no close-up makes it controversial with time as fans start to question the abilities of the fighters, just like how they are judging the abilities of Hakari and Uraume.
