Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263, released on July 15, 2024, indicated the demise of Ryomen Sukuna for the first time after Hana Kurusu appeared at the end, hitting him with a fully powered Jacob's Ladder. Even though the move's chances of defeating Sukuna are still unknown, the past could have already showcased a move that would have been vital in ending the antagonist.

The chapter also concluded the battle of the domains as Yuta/Gojo and Sukuna exited the domains after the latter was hit with a Hollow Purple attack. Yuji and Aoi were again after the King of Curses, not allowing him to take a breather.

Hana's arrival at the end of the chapter did spark the hopes of the sorcerers, but her chances of success are still low, considering how the King of Curses has managed to evade every trump card of the sorcerers. So, the only cursed technique that could have had a slight chance of overpowering Sukuna would have been Yorozu's True Sphere.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Exploring how Yorozu's True Sphere could be a vital move to defeat Ryomen Sukuna

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263 started with Ryomen Sukuna getting hit with Yuta/Gojo's Hollow Purple, which sent him flying out of the domain. Yuta also exited and joined Yuji and Aoi, who had already cornered the King of Curses. Unfortunately, Gojo's body had reached a limit, and Yuta tapped out again.

On the other hand, Yuji and Aoi kept the King of Curses busy, as Hollow Purple had hardly affected him. As the battle reached a standstill, Hana Kurusu appeared. She took a gamble and fired a fully powered Jacob's Ladder at Sukuna. As Hollow Purple hardly worked against Ryomen Sukuna, there are chances that Jacob's Ladder could also be a failed attempt.

So, which technique could be powerful enough to kill the King of Curses for good? Some fans might not believe this, but Yorozu has already showcased this technique during the Culling Game arc of Jujutsu Kaisen.

Yorozu is a cursed sorcerer from the Heian Era who was reincarnated inside the body of Tsumiki Fushigoro. When she was alive, she was obsessed with making Ryomen Sukuna fall in love with her, and, as expected, she tried to do the same again.

As the battle was about to reach an obvious conclusion in favor of the King of Curses, Yorozu pulled a move that could be considered the strongest in the series— the True Sphere.

The True Sphere is a cursed technique derived from the theoretical concept of creating a perfectly round sphere. Yorozu constructed it with a substance called liquid metal that has unknown properties.

The True Sphere had infinite pressure, which created an infinite force that was impossible to avoid. To ensure that her cursed technique reached Sukuna, she expanded her domain, Threefold Affliction, making True Sphere a sure-hit technique.

Unfortunately, as Sukuna had Mahoraga, Megumi's cursed technique, he escaped Yorozu's trap pretty easily. However, without Mahoraga, Sukuna could have died right there due to the infinite force of the True Sphere.

Explaining the concept of the True Sphere

As its name indicates, a True Sphere is an ideally round surface with no point of contact. A point of contact is created on a flat surface, and spheres that exist in reality, no matter how spherical they are, have them. This is because of Entropy, the unavoidable disorder in nature. So, a True Sphere is a theoretical concept.

Yorozu's True Sphere had an area of 'zero' because it had no flat surface. Pressure (P) is inversely proportional to area (A) in physics (the smaller the area, the greater the pressure), which makes the pressure (P) of Yorozu's True Sphere close to infinity (as the area is 0).

As pressure (P) is directly proportional to force (F) in physics (the greater the pressure, the greater the force), Yorozu's True Sphere had an infinite force that could kill anyone in the series. Sukuna avoided such a deadly technique because of Mahoraga's adaptability that can adapt to any process, just like how it adapted to Gojo Satoru's Infinity.
