While most anime fans would not notice any similarities between Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon Slayer besides their great animation quality, both series do feature some wildly unhinged characters. There is therefore good reason to believe that some of these characters could have had some decent chemistry with those from the other series.
However, the ones we believe would have the most chemistry with each other are Mahito from Jujutsu Kaisen and Douma from Demon Slayer. While they are quite different in nature, there are some similarities between them that could intrigue each other, possibly leading to some great interactions if the two characters were to ever meet.
Jujutsu Kaisen's Mahito could move Douma with his Idle Transfiguration
As anime fans would know, Mahito from Jujutsu Kaisen was a sadistic Cursed Spirit, while Douma from Demon Slayer was an apathetic demon. While on the outside it would seem like the two characters have no similarities, both characters are highly immature and childish. To top it off, they happen to show such tendencies in the most intense moments.
Therefore, there is a chance that the two characters get interested in each other. But during such interactions, Douma could learn something much more interesting about Mahito— his Idle Transfiguration.
As any Demon Slayer manga reader would know, Douma is an apathetic Demon, who doesn't even feel anything towards death. He wholeheartedly believed that when he eats someone, he is saving them from suffering by letting them live inside his body.
If that is the case, meeting someone who can transfigure the shape of a human should surely amuse him. Up until now, Douma simply ate humans to satisfy his needs, but possibly devouring humans transfigured by Mahito should intrigue him much more.
Such a possible friendship would not be one-sided. This is because Mahito could also become highly interested in Douma. Mahito was interested in the concept of a person's body and soul, and what defines them. Thus, to meet someone whose soul did not feel anything, even toward death, should amuse Mahito.
While there is a chance that the Cursed Spirit may harbor an alternative motive to transfigure Douma, it is more likely that their shared childish nature may only see them impress each other, one after another. Moreover, as revealed by the Demon Slayer manga, Douma was disliked even by other Demons. This meant that he had no real friends. Therefore, having an actual friend in Mahito could also invoke some emotions inside the apathetic Demon.
While such developments would have been fun to watch, the most interesting part about their confrontation could be their interactions. While one hates humans and knows what he is doing is bad, the other loves humans for the way they taste. Essentially, both characters could end up enabling each other to create more chaos.
