Jujutsu Kaisen theories on how Yuji's Domain Expansion could revive Gojo are here, and they're as ridiculous as ever

Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 264 was recently leaked, and the biggest highlight, without a doubt, was Yuji Itadori using his Domain Expansion for the first time. While the chapter didn't exactly show what the Domain's ability is, some fans on Reddit have already theorized that it could be a way to bring back Satoru Gojo from the dead.

It is too early to judge what Yuji's Domain Expansion is going to be, but it is also time for Jujutsu Kaisen fans to let go of Satoru Gojo, especially after the recent claims with this theory. It suggests that the train station shown in the Domain means arrival, much like Gojo's airport scene represents his departure, thus inferring that this ability can bring people back from the dead, which is a somewhat outrageous claim.

A recent theory on Reddit stated that Yuji Itadori's Domain Expansion is going to be related in some shape or form to the idea of bringing people back to life. The user in question goes on to state that train stations can represent arrivals, much like Satoru Gojo's airport scene when he died represents departures, thus meaning that the protagonist now is going to be able to bring his sensei back from the dead.

The theory falls apart when considering that airports and train stations can both mean arrivals and departures, which doesn't mean that someone will return. Furthermore, Yuji and Sukuna's duality and rivalry have been constructed from the opening chapters of author Gege Akutami's manga, so bringing back Gojo wouldn't make any sense at the moment.

The theory states that it would make sense because Yuji is still trying to bring back Megumi Fushiguro and separate him from Sukuna, although this point doesn't really add up. Megumi, as of this writing, is still alive so Yuji is going to try to save as many people as possible, which fits his character, but Gojo was already killed and people need to accept that.

There is no denying that Satoru Gojo's death is one of the most shocking moments in the history of Jujutsu Kaisen and has had a major impact on the fandom. There have been a lot of different tributes and extreme reactions for someone who is a fictional character, which has also led to multiple fan theories regarding how he could come back to life.

Despite Gege Akutami having Yuta Okkotsu take over Gojo's body, there are still people believing that Satoru could be revived. The series has never done that and the writer, Akutami, is known for having a lot of stakes in the story. This is why bringing Gojo back would only hurt the manga and undermine Yuji Itadori and the rest of the sorcerers' work.

Final thoughts

This theory suggests that Yuji Itadori's Domain Expansion could bring Satoru Gojo back to life but that would make very little sense in the Jujutsu Kaisen story at the moment. That is another example of why people need to let go of Gojo and accept that the character has died.
