Jujutsu Kaisen volume 25 recently came out and added some details here and there as extra information for the story. Perhaps one of the most notorious inclusions was a panel of Kenjaku adding a new rule for the Culling Game. This is something that players with certain amounts of points can do, and this could have potentially spoiled the ending. of the series.

Jujutsu Kaisen author Gege Akutami has always tried to keep things interesting and unexpected in his series. However, there is a very good chance that this retcon could have revealed how the story will end. However, it is also worth pointing out that this is just a theory and could be wrong, especially considering how this manga always tends to shock readers one way or another.

New information in Jujutsu Kaisen volume 25 could potentially have spoiled the series' conclusion

The recently released Jujutsu Kaisen volume 25 has added some interesting bits of information to the source material. This included a panel of Kenjaku that could make a huge difference in the story. In fact, the difference is so monumental that it could be the way the series would have ended, which is something that author Gege Akutami was probably trying to keep away from people.

This panel shows Kenjaku mentioning that he is going to add a new rule to the Culling Game, something that players with enough points can do in this situation. Kenjaku mentioned that the new rule involves the game ending when all the players have died, except if Shiori Himi, Megumi Fushiguro, and Suguru Geto are the ones who die.

Shiori Himi is the vessel of Uraume, Suguru Geto of Kenjaku, and Megumi of Ryomen Sukuna. This means that if one of them, the antagonists, dies in the coming chapters, that wouldn't stop the Culling Game. If the Culling Game keeps going the merger will take place and the all-powerful Curse that Kenjaku wanted to develop could unfold. That, in turn, could spell doom for a lot of people all over the world.

The potential validity of this theory

How Jujutsu Kaisen is going to end is anyone's guess at this point. However, there is a good chance neither Kenjaku nor Ryomen Sukuna is going to be the final boss and this theory seems to suggest this. The inclusion of this Kenjaku panel seems to suggest the possibility of his plans going even after his death, fitting with what he said to Yuta Okkotsu when he cut the former's head a few chapters ago.

This also presents the issue of what the sorcerers could do if the theory of Kenjaku crafting an all-powerful Curse with the merger turns out to be true. If that is the case and that Curse proves to be born, a very difficult scenario is presented for the Jujutsu sorcerers. This would happen even if they managed to defeat the likes of Uraume, Kenjaku, and Sukuna, especially considering how powerful the latter is.

In many ways, Gege Akutami has crafted a situation where most fans don't know what to expect from his series, especially after Satoru Gojo's death. His death left a lot of fans scratching their heads about what the rest of the cast was going to do now. The inclusion of this information in volume 25 has only added more fuel to the fire.

Final thoughts

Jujutsu Kaisen volume 25 has added a new panel of Kenjaku adding a rule to the Culling Game which could prove to be monumental for the series' conclusion. While there is no certainty of how the story is going to pan out, there is a very good chance that this inclusion is going to be pivotal for the story moving forward.
