Elsewhere, Hakuri left behind his fears at mastered his clan's signature move, Isou, to push his elder brother toward the giant wooden wall. At that moment, Chihiro Rokuhira broke through the wall and plunged his blade into the Tou member's back from behind.

Kagurabachi chapter 33 highlights: Hiyuki faces the Sazanami clan's reinforcements
Kagurabachi chapter 33, titled, Defend to the Death, starts with Chihiro and Hakuri hurrying toward the door's location, leaving the injured Soya Sazanami behind. The young sorcerer asks Chihiro whether he has defeated the person on the other side, but Chihiro says that he hasn't.
Meanwhile, Kagurabachi chapter 33 shows Hiyuki Kagari ambushing the Hishaku's leader. When she asks for a battle, the sorcerer replies that he has already been satisfied. He also adds that the Sazanamis are the ones who will risk their lives to protect the Rakuzaichi.
The Hishaku's leader leaves the scene via teleportation skill, and the Sazanami clan's fighters arrive. They notice Hiyuki's Enkotsu (Flame Bone) and realize she's from the Kamunabi.
One of the Sazanami members is surprised because he thought the Kamunabi was a more conservative branch.
However, Hiyuki tells him that she's different from the rest. The Sazanami guards take their battle stance to eliminate Hiyuki for interfering with their long-standing tradition, the Rakuzaichi.
The youngest Tou member and Hakuri's twin brother gains the power that rivals an Enchanted Blade
Kagurabachi chapter 33 shifts to a flashback, where Kyora Sazanami is seen conducting the Rakuzaichi auction. He summons his two young kids, Hakuri and his twin brother, Tenri, to the stage.
Kyora calls them special and says that only the Sazanami have the right to stand on the stage. The rest who interfere are obliterated from existence. Following that, Kagurabachi chapter 33 returns to the present, showcasing the aftermath of Shiba's battle with the three Tou members.
Chihiro's mentor interrogates Tenri about how to open the door to the cemetery, but he refuses to answer. One of the Tou members is shocked by Shiba's strength and feels that he's more than just a teleporter.
Thus, he agrees to spill the beans. Meanwhile, a flurry of thoughts ran inside Tenri's might, about how his father acknowledged him as the youngest Tou and called him special.
He feels an intense desire to make his father proud. Suddenly, an object drops in front of him from Kyora's sub-dimensional vault. Kagurabachi chapter 33 delves into another flashback, where the Hishaku's boss gives Kyora that object and informs him that it's Genichi Sojo's legacy.
Although he died trying to reach Kunishige Rokuhira's ream, he was still a genius to invent an object that could command the temporary stability of the Datenseki. In other words, that weapon could allow one to gain powers that rival the Enchanted Blades.
However, Kagurabachi chapter 33 also reveals that its effect is temporary, and following its usage, the user's body won't be able to contain the flood of Spirit Energy and die.
Kyora Sazanami remembers the Hishaku leader's words, and with a stone-cold expression, tells his son to defend the auction to death.
Without a second thought, Tenri grabs the object, which manifests his Spirit Energy into a Jellyfish-like shape. Shiba realizes that Tenri has gained powers similar to an Enchanted Blade.
Elsewhere in Kagurabachi chapter 33, Chihiro and Hakuri try to run as fast as they can toward the designated location. However, Soya Sazanami appears behind them in a serious mood. Hakuri says he has never seen his elder brother like that before.
He remembers that Chihiro has only a few embers left in the Cloud Gouger before the blade dies. The sorcerer also realizes Chihiro didn't go after Soya's throat earlier because he was hesitant to kill his brother. As such, he tells him to go on ahead. Kagurabachi chapter 33 ends with Hakuri facing his brother for a rematch.
