Kagurabachi chapter 33 recap

Kagurabachi chapter 33, titled Defend to the Death, kicks off with Chihro and Hakuri hurrying toward the emergency exit door's location, leaving Soya Sazanami and Hishaku's boss behind. Hiyuki arrives at the scene and confronts the Hishaku's leader.

However, the sorcerer says instead of him, the Sazanamis will risk their life to protect the Rakuzaichi auction. Just as he leaves via teleportation skill, several Sazanami fighters arrive. They notice Hiyuki's Flame Bone and realize that she's from Kamunabi.

One of them is surprised because he thought that the Kamuniabis were a more conservative branch. However, Hiyuki says that she's different from the rest. At that moment, the Sazanamis prepare themselves to battle the Kamunabi sorcerer.

Elsewhere, the chapter shows the aftermath of Shiba's battle with the Tou. The sorcerer interrogates one of the defeated Tou about how to open the gate to the Sazanami cemetery, but they refuse to answer.

At that moment, the chapter delves into the past, showcasing a scene from an old Rakuzaichi auction. Kyora Sazanami summons his two children, Hakuri, and his twin brother, Tenri to the stage. He tells them how special they are to set foot on the stage, as they have the Sazanami clan's blood running in their veins.

Kyora also implores them to protect their family's long-standing tradition from trespassers. The chapter returns to the present and shows an object dropping in front of Tenri from Kyora's sub-dimensional vault.

A flashback scene featuring the Hishaku's boss and Kyora Sazanami reveals the object is the final invention of Genichi Sojo before he died.

While he perished trying to enter the same realm as Kunishige Rokuhira, he devised a weapon that could momentarily stabilize the Datenseki and grant a user powers similar to an Enchanted Blade.

Tenri recalls his father's words about defending the auction with life. Without any hesitation, he grabs the object, and his Spirit Energy manifests into a Jellyfish-like shape. Shiba realizes that the boy has gained powers akin to an Enchanted Blade.

Elsewhere, Soya Sazanami ambushes Chihiro and Hakuri. The young sorcerer looks at his elder brother and realizes that he never saw him in such a serious mode.

Hakuri analyzes the situation and feels Chihiro only has a few embers left in the Cloud Gouger. As such, he tells him to go ahead, while he prepares himself to take on his elder brother.

Kagurabachi chapter 34 will likely showcase Tenri Sazanami going berserk against Shiba. The sorcerer has gained powers that rival an Enchanted Blade, thanks to Genichi Sojo's legacy.

As such, he will demonstrate his newfound powers to stop Shiba from interfering in the auction. Meanwhile, Kagurabachi chapter 34 may show Hakuri's battle against his brother. Since he has learned how to demonstrate Isou, he will likely show his talent.
