Kagurabachi chapter 40 spoilers reveal Hishaku's masterplan and show Kyora using the Shinuchi against Chihiro

According to Kagurabachi chapter 40 spoilers, the chapter is titled A Fraction.

The alleged Kagurabachi chapter 40 spoilers pick up the event from the previous issue and begin with Kyora Sazanami planning to demonstrate a fraction of Shinuchi's powers. Everyone in the audience, including the Kamunani sorcerers, is intrigued.

Sensing danger, Chihiro Rokuhira uses a Kuro on the ground where Kyora is hiding. Following that, the Kagurabachi chapter 40 spoilers delve into a flashback, where Shiba speculates that the Hishaku are auctioning the Shinuchi blade to let the Kamunabi buy it.

Since they went through the trouble of stealing the Enchanted Blade, their end goal must be to use the blade's powers, and for that, they must kill the original user. With the user under strict guard by the Kamunabi's higher authorities, they cannot use normal means to infiltrate.

According to the alleged Kagurabachi chapter 40 spoilers, Shiba feels that if the blade ends up with the Kamunabi, their hands will be full of internal complications, allowing the Hishaku the opening to end the holder's life.

Besides that, Chihiro recalls his father Kunishige Rokuhira's words on the Shinuchi being an aberrant, which is why it's under heavy guard more than the other Enchanted Blades. Even Chihiro has never seen what's inside the Shinuchi blade's box.

Shiba seconds Chihiro's opinion about the blade and reveals that the higher authorities of the Kamunabi set the heavy seals on the blade. According to the alleged Kagurabachi chapter 40 spoilers, one must have the biometrics to release the seals off Shinuchi.

However, he also considers another possibility: a person can analyze the sealing formula and release the seal. Yet, Shiba feels it may take ten years even for an experienced sorcerer to achieve that.

In other words, as long as the seals on the Shinuchi's box are active, the Hishaku cannot demonstrate the blade's actual powers. Shiba feels the Hishaku must have put the blade on the auction to get the events moving.

Kagurabachi chapter 40 spoilers then switch the perspective to the Hishaku's leader, who is seen conversing with someone from his group. He reveals that he had put everything into opening the Shinuchi's box in three years.

The mysterious person sitting opposite him asks whether it's fine for him to let Kyora Sazanami use the blade. Hishaku's leader reveals that there's a risk to using the sword, with the original user remaining alive.

In other words, Kagurabachi chapter 40 spoilers state that the Hishaku has been using Kyora Sazanami as a guinea pig. The mysterious leader wonders what will happen once Kyora unlocks its powers. Following that, the spoilers return to the Kyora vs. Chihiro battle.

Chihiro gets an eerie sensation as Kyora appears behind him. His right eye appears dark, and he stands almost motionless, carrying the unsheathed Shinuchi blade. Blood begins to drop as the original Shinuchi's user's eyes are blackened. He chants "Magatsumi" or the "Twisted Sin."

A pool of blood appears under Kyora's feet, and from it, mysterious flowers bloom. Kagurabachi chapter 40 spoilers then show a butterfly flying toward the Shinuchi blade, which manifests into a gigantic being made of blood.

Kyora finally speaks. He says he cannot pull the Enchanted Blade out of the sheath. Chihiro cannot believe that the person standing before him is Kyora Sazanami.

The latter charges at him with an unsheathed blade, and Chihiro realizes that it can cut even with a fraction of its powers enabled. On the other side, Hakuri appears exhausted. Suddenly, he notices a familiar figure behind him. Kagurabachi chapter 40 spoilers end with Hiyuki Kagari appearing at the right time.
