Kagurabachi Chapter 42 spoilers: Chihiro runs against time to save the prisoners, as Shinuchi almost devours Kyora

Kagurabachi Chapter 42 spoilers, released on Thursday, July 18, 2024, were expected to show Chihiro and Hiyuki's counterattack against Kyora Sazanami, but the alleged spoilers saw Kyora go berserk after being possessed by Shinuchi's powers. The official chapter will be released on Monday, July 22, at 12 am JST in Weekly Shonen Jump's 34th issue.

The previous chapter saw Kyora Sazanami demonstrate a wide range of abilities of the Shinuchi Enchanted Blade against Chihiro Rokuhira. However, Hiyuki Kagari arrived in time to help the Enten-user. Chihiro showcased a new tactic, where he enchanted his Kuro with the Flame Bone's flames. However, Kyora remained unscathed.

The alleged Kagurabachi Chapter 42 spoilers begin with a flashback scene, where Tafuku asks Hiyuki whether she will truly kill Chihiro Rokuhira after the mission. The Kamunabi sorcerer says she will because otherwise, he won't let go of the Enchanted Blades.

Hiyuki asks Tafuku whether he is sympathizing with Rokuhira. Tafuku then reminds her that Chihiro won't be pointing his blade toward Hiyuki for the rest of his life. As such, he asks if she can kill someone.

Kagurabachi Chapter 42 spoilers then show the Flame Bone user regretting that she couldn't take Chihiro's life in the past because he was being pathetic. Moreover, she makes it clear that she doesn't hold the boy in high regard as Tafuku does.

Suddenly, they notice Kyora's preview image disappearing from the podium. A pandemonium follows as the crowd cannot understand what happened to the Sazanami clan head. Meanwhile, Kyora Sazanami suffers from excruciating pain.

Holding his head, he grunts and shouts, as if trying his best to get rid of the entity that's trying to devour his senses. On the other hand, Chihiro Rokuhira realizes that the Storehouse is crumbling down. He worries about the prisoners who are still inside the vault.

Hiyuki feels they must finish off Kyora quickly. As they charge at the sorcerer, Hakuri realizes that something is wrong. Not only Kyora but Chihiro and Hiyuki are transferred to the auction room. The Sazanami clan head drops on the podium and demonstrates Shinuchi's Centipede ability.

Kyora's attack creates a garden of death flowers, where audiences are ensnared and die a brutal death. Chaos follows, as Kyora slowly loses his grip over his consciousness. He goes through an internal battle against an unknown foe.

Kagurabachi Chapter 42 spoilers then show Shiba appearing beside Hakuri. Seeing chaos everywhere, Hiyuki suggests they should kill Kyora Sazanami. However, Hakuri tells her that it would be a bad idea.

The sorcerer informs Hiyuki that Shinuchi's corrosion is greatly affecting the Storehouse, and it will soon be destroyed. If Kyora were to die right now, the Storehouse would immediately disappear, including the prisoners inside.

Hiyuki then asks Hakuri how they can protect the prisoners. The Sazanami sorcerer tells her that one needs to go inside and imbue into each prisoner Spirit Energy so that he can take them out using his sorcery powers.

However, with Kyora at his limits, the space won't last more than a few seconds. Shiba seconds Hakuri's words and feels going there would be a suicide. Yet, Chihiro Rokuhira's conviction remains unbent. He cannot let innocent lives be sacrificed because of the Enchanted Blades.
