Kagurabachi chapter 43, titled Fulfill, kicks off with Chihiro Rokuhira prepared to imbue every prisoner inside Kyora Sazanami's crumbling Storehouse with his Spirit Energy to let Hakuri transfer them outside. Meanwhile, Shiba and Hiyuki worry about Chihiro.

On the other side of the spectrum, Hakuri observes Kyora Sazanami's condition. He feels the only thing that's delaying the Storehouse from being destroyed is the sorcerer's conviction and willpower.

The narrative for Kagurabachi chapter 43 shifts the perspective to Kyora Sazanami, who recalls the words spoken by his late wife. She wished Kyora could end the Rakuzaichi auction. Kyora's late wife felt that her husband and others in the Sazanami family were brainwashed by the "sacred tradition."

Without the existence of Rakuzaichi, she thought Kyora could have been slightly more human. Apart from his wife's memories, the sorcerer also remembers the time when his father entrusted him with the responsibility of Rakuzaichi.
