Kagurabachi chapter 45: The locations of the previous Enchanted Blade users are revealed as Chihiro discloses his next plans

Kagurabachi chapter 45 was released on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 12 am JST on Weekly Shonen Jump issue #38. The chapter revealed Chihiro Rokuhira's next plans regarding the stolen Enchanted Blades. The Enten-user told Hiyuki and others that Hakuri's Storehouse power would be the key to his plan.

The previous chapter drew curtains to the Rakuzaichi arc and commenced the Kamunabi arc, with Chihiro Rokuhira deciding to join the Kamunabi forces. He wanted to learn more about the Enchanted Blades and the secrets his father, Kunishige Rokuhira didn't tell him about.

Kagurabachi chapter 45, titled What Comes Next, kicks off with the Hishaku's leader conversing with an unknown member of the organization about his next plan. He thinks everything has gone according to his plan, with the Shinuchi going to the Kamunabi. The other person seconds the Hishaku boss' words and awaits his instructions.

Meanwhile, Chihiro and Hakuri regain consciousness a day after the Rakuzaichi and observe Shiba and Hiyuki playing a video game. Hiyuki reveals they have been waiting a long time for them to wake up. According to Kagurabachi chapter 45, Chihiro and Hakuri dozed off from tiredness soon after returning from the Rakuzaichi building.

The Enten user realizes that Shiba hasn't told Hiyuki or Tafuku about him being an ex-Kamunabi user. Meanwhile, Char tells Chihiro and Hakuri that Yuu Inazuma has expressed his gratitude for saving his sister. Likewise, Hiyuki is content that everyone is safe.

She feels it's the Kamunabi's job to protect the civilians, but they don't have the guts to stand up against evil. Hiyuki further says that their mission wouldn't have been possible without Chihiro and Hakuri's help, who didn't let a single person slip through their fingers.

Following that in Kagurabachi chapter 45, Chihiro asks Hiyuki about Enten. The Flame Bone user hands over the blade but tells Chihiro that she has entrusted the Shinuchi to her colleagues. Hiyuki adds that she has to take Chihiro to the Kamunabi's higher authorities.

Meanwhile, Shiba asks Chihiro whether he is content with the Kamunabi having Shinuchi, considering he knows about the Hishaku boss' desire. Chihiro assures him that he has carefully thought things through. Shiba knows that Chihiro is anxious, but he advises him not to show haste with his next action.

He adds that for the past three years, the Hishaku organization has been preparing its moves. Even letting Kamunabi the Shinuchi Enchanted Blade was part of their plan. As such, Shiba thinks Hishaku's next plan will involve them trying to steal the blade from Kamunabi's facility.

Therefore, he wonders if there's any other way to counter it, without joining Kamunabi. However, Hiyuki firmly reminds Shiba that the deal has already been made. Meanwhile, in Kagurabachi chapter 45, Tafuku says that it's up to the higher-ups whether they will seal or use the Shinuchi blade.

He thinks Kamunabi may be tempted to use the blade to counter Hishaku's threat. However, Chihiro then recalls his father's warning that Shinuchi must not be used at any cost.

As such, he wonders if there's a way to ensure Kamunabi doesn't have to use the blade. Chihiro agrees with Shiba that he's feeling slightly impatient; however, he also knows that he isn't reckless.

The narrative for Kagurabachi chapter 45 focuses on Chihiro, who declares that he plans on stealing the remaining Enchanted Blades from the Hishaku group. Apparently, the Kamunabi organization has the previous users protected in a safe zone.

However, the blades belong to the bandits or the Hishaku. As a result. if he can somehow steal those blades, Kamunabi won't need to use Shinuchi. According to Kagurabachi chapter 45, Chihiro Rokuhira's trump card is Hakuri Sazanami.

He wants to use the sorcerer's Storehouse ability to register the previous owners into his vault and transfer the blades. Chihiro thinks that the Enchanted Blades must have their residual Spirit Energy flowing. As a result, Hakuri registering them will enable the sorcerer to transfer the blades from a different location with ease.

Following that in Kagurabachi chapter 45, Tafuku tells Chihiro that barring from the Sword Saint (Shinuchi's previous user), other holders are hidden in Kamunabi-owned secret places called Sanso or Fortresses, scattered around Japan.

According to Kagurabachi chapter 45, there are four Sanso: The Senkutsuji Temple, the Kokugoku Hot Spring, the Kuentaisha Shrine and the Sushisubaru. These places are heavily guarded by the Kamunabi's elite forces because if Hishaku kills the previous holders, they could easily use the stolen blades.

Moreover, Tafuku tells Chihiro that he would require permission from the higher-ups to enter the Sanzo. At that moment, Hakuri realizes that if they can retrieve the blades, the powerful Kamunabi sorcerers could return from their post and better ensure everyone's safety.

He agrees with Chihiro's plan and urges him to meet the previous Enchanted Blade owners. However, Hiyuki reminds them it won't be easy because Kamunabi higher-ups will judge them best on their character and trustworthiness. They might not take the risk considering Hakuri is from the Sazanami clan. As such, they could give them a sound death sentence instead.

Therefore, the Flame Bone user thinks it's best to prove their resolve to the higher-ups. Kagurabachi chapter 45 ends with Chihiro Rokuhira appearing before the Kamunabi's higher officials at the organization's headquarters.
