Kagurabachi chapter 55 is set to be released on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 12 am JST in Weekly Shonen Jump's 48th issue, according to Shueisha's MANGA Plus website. However, due to the differences in time zones, most manga lovers can access the chapter earlier on October 27, 2024.

In the previous chapter, Hiruhiko told Chihiro Rokuhira about the Hishaku organization and their plans regarding the contracted sword bearers. Hiruhiko also employed the Hishaku sorcerer with the tree sorcery at the Senkutsuji temple to eliminate Samura.

Manga lovers can read Takeru Hokazono's Kagurabachi chapter 55 on several Shueisha-affiliated platforms, such as the MANGA Plus site, the MANGA Plus app, the Shonen Jump+ app, and the VIZ Media's official site.

The chapter begins with Yura, who is seen playing on a spring horse at a public park. Speculating on the Kamunabi's plans, the Hishaku's leader feels the organization must be shoring up their forces at every fortress in anticipation of an attack.

He also feels that if the Kamunabi are willing to let Chihiro join them, they must really be stretched thin. Meanwhile, he is concerned about Shiba, whose location he hasn't been able to find. The chapter then shows Yura on a phone call with a sorcerer, with whom he chats about the mission.

He feels they must acquire at least one Enchanted Blade to infiltrate the ironclad defense of the Kamunabi's Tokyo HQ and eliminate Shinuchi's sword-bearer. Meanwhile, the other sorcerer wonders whether it was wise to put Hiruhiko in charge of the important mission.

Although Yura knows that Hiruhiko is psychologically immature, he feels the boy's talent in battle will do him worse than good. Elsewhere, Chihiro Rokuhira explains to Hiruhiko how he turned the tide of the battle using the Hishaku sorcerer's game against himself.

According to Hiruhiko, Hishaku is comprised of ten sorcerers, with Yura, their leader at the helm. They want to kill the Enchanted Blade's contract holders by attacking their fortresses. For that, they have hired 68 sorcerers and employed 34 Datenseki weapons. Hiruhiko has the command over the forces for the operation.

Elsewhere, the Hishaku leader learns about a sudden change in plans and is amused. It is revealed that Hiruhiko has deployed nearly all forces to the Senkutsuji Temple. The chapter ends with the Hishaku sorcerer, who can use Tree Sorcery, confronting Samura.
