Kagurabachi chapter 56 is scheduled to be released on Monday, November 4, 2024, at 12 am JST in Weekly Shonen Jump's 49th issue, according to Shueisha's MANGA Plus site. Yet, due to the varying time zones, most fans can access the chapter earlier on November 3, 2024.

In the previous chapter, the Hishaku's forces attacked the Senkutsuji temple and confronted Samura using crafty strategies. Hishaku's onslaught forced Uruha and the Makizumi group to enter the battlefield. Besides that, the chapter saw Hakuri decide to put his life on the line.

At a warehouse, the Masumi members try to convince Hakuri Sazanami to rest since he has exhausted his Spirit Energy. They tell him that he needs at least thirty minutes to use his sorcery powers without any risk of brain damage, or at worse, death. Thankfully, Hakuri has only twenty minutes left to recover.

Meanwhile, Uruha receives a call from Chihiro who tells him about the Hishaku's all-out attack plan at the Senkutsuji temple. As Uruha becomes concerned, Masumi prepares an evacuation plan for the contracted sword bearers and Hakuri. Simultaneously, they decide to lend Samura support in his ongoing battle against the Hishaku members.

When Hakuri shows concern, Uruha tells him it's perhaps best to leave it to the Makizumi. The elite squad members then wake their commander, who looks like a young version of Samura. Elsewhere, Samura is locked in a fiery battle against the Hishaku sorcerers, who try various tricks to confuse his senses.

A Hishaku sorcerer with Tree Sorcery becomes impressed as Samura sees through their tricks and cuts down several assassins. He changes his battle tactics and throws pine trees at him. Meanwhile, Uruha feels it won't be ideal to join the battlefield, with Samura's senses dulled.

However, the Makizumi commander says their elite squad specializes in stealth, where they can erase their existence from the battlefield and not confuse Samura. On the other side, Uruha and Hakuri try to escape. At that moment, a Datenseki-infused assassin barges into the warehouse, forcing Uruha to take guard.

Elsewhere, the Makizumi squad feels they can't afford to lose any more members, with their already dwindling numbers. One of them feels they might require at least one more sorcerer. Interestingly, Uruha joins the party and uses his Iai White Sword techniques to join forces with Samura, who appears slightly annoyed by his interference.

One of the Masumi members feels it's the perfect opportunity to devise an escape plan for the contract bearers and Hakuri and let the Makizumi handle the Hishaku's forces. However, Hakuri refuses to leave. The chapter ends with Hakuri Sazanami activating his sorcery powers once more, prepared to put his life on the line.

Kagurabachi chapter 56 will likely show Hakuri Sazanami's effort against the Hishaku reinforcements. Although he has activated his sorcery in the middle of recovering, Hakuri would do his best to register the Enchanted Blades in his Storehouse and retrieve them.

However, it won't be easy since he has to deal with several Hishaku reinforcements. On the other side, Kagurabachi chapter 56 could switch the perspective to Chihiro Rokuhira and Hiruhiko.
