Kagurabachi chapter 58 recap

Picking up the events from the previous chapter, Kagurabachi chapter 58 kicks off with Chihiro Rokuhira confused about Hiruhiko wielding the Kumeyuri Enchanted Blade. The chapter then goes back in time and shows the events that occurred seven minutes ago.

After retrieving Samura's Enchanted Blade, Hakuri loses a lot of blood, so Uruha asks him whether he is fine. The Makizumi girl says she has already applied the first aid, and now the boy has to rest. She also thanks him for allowing them the opportunity to see Samura in action again.

Meanwhile, Hakuri's eyes become heavy with tiredness, so he falls asleep. When he opens his eyes the next moment, he finds everyone lying unconscious with no sign of blood. While lying on the ground, Hakuri sees Samura and Uruha talking to each other.

Uruha asks Samura whether he has gone insane. The blind swordsman says he is perfectly sane. He adds that he hasn't had a chance to speak to Uruha ever since he arrived at the temple. From their conversation, it is revealed that Samura wishes to root out evil.

Uruha wants him to wield his sword and fight the Hishaku group, who are responsible for Kunishige's death. However, Samura reminds him that there's an evil filthier than Hishaku: The Enchanted Blade Bearers. Samura reminds Uruha about a sin they committed eighteen years ago, which they buried and were lauded as heroes.

The youngsters saw them as heroes and dedicated their lives to protect them. Samura doesn't want their lives to be perished. That's why, he wants to eliminate the five Sword Bearers, including himself. However, Uruha refuses to throw away his life that his guardians at Kokugoku Fortress died saving.

So, Samura and Uruha then engage in a duel to death. Meanwhile, Hakuri, who is still on the ground, desperately tries to call Chihiro. With Uruha's death imminent, he blames himself for the whole scenario. On the other side, Samura effortlessly slashes Uruha using the Iai White Purity Technique.

He doesn't even let Uruha unsheath his open. As the ex-Kumeyuri user falls to the ground, he asks Samura whether he will carry the burden alone. Samura says he doesn't want to let anybody else endure the hell. Following that, he cuts down Uruha and ends his life.

Meanwhile, Hakuri uses his last ounce of strength to summon Chihiro to the scene. Chihiro Rokuhira's nightmare becomes actualized, as he sees Uruha's blood-smeared body on the ground and Samura holding the blade. The chapter ends with a shocking reunion, as Samura tells Chihiro that he is reeking of blood.

Kagurabachi chapter 59 will likely show Chihiro desperately seeking an answer from Samura about his intentions. He has already plunged into despair, so he will want to know more about the war.

On the other hand, it remains to be seen whether Samura wants to kill Chihiro too, since he now carries an Enchanted Blade. If so, Kagurabachi chapter 59 may show Samura taking on Chihiro. There's no chance Chihiro can take on Samura alone at his current level. So, in that case, Shiba may come to his and Hakuri's help.
