Kagurabachi chapter 62 recap

The chapter begins with a dream sequence where Samura's daughter, Iori, is seen holding hands with someone. The dream wakes her up. It is revealed that she's living a fabricated life in Kyoto under the impression that her father left her and her mother even before she was born.

Meanwhile, Iori turns on the TV and sees the news of the massacre at the Kabuki theatre. She is disgusted by the news, so she turns it off and leaves for the school. On her way, she looks up at the sky, which appears dark and gloomy. She can also see a gigantic eye blocking the sky.

According to the chapter, Samura's daughter has had strange dreams ever since the sky appeared. Following that, Iori enters the class and chats with her friends. One of her classmates, Ikura, has drawn a tattoo on his face resembling Chihiro Rokuhira's scar.

Apparently, the incident at the Kabuki theatre has influenced him so much that he has become Chihiro's fan. While chatting with her friends, Iori gets a vision of being with someone (Samura). The vision disappears before she can recall it. She speculates whether her strange visions are connected to the sky's state.

On her way home, Iori's friends urge her not to overthink and get something sweet to eat. Meanwhile, Kuguri kills one of the teachers at the school and barges into the classroom with his partner, the female Hishaku sorcerer. She pokes her nails into one of the female students' cheeks and tastes her blood.

The Hishaku sorcerer says it's not Samura's daughter. She can identify people by tasting their blood. Since the sorcerer has Samura's blood with her, she can find his daughter. She asks the girls in the classroom to line up while leaving Kuguri to handle the boys. Kuguri gets the green light from his partner to kill the boys.

Just then, Ikura shows bravado and confronts the Hishaku sorcerers. Kuguri is about to kill him when Samura's daughter steps in. The Hishaku sorcerer tells his partner to check whether the girl is the one they are looking for. At that moment, the Masumi and Chihiro enter the classroom.

Chihiro Rokuhira engages in a battle against Kuguri while the Masumi members discuss whether the seal on Samura's daughter has gotten loose. They realize Iori's memory seal is still intact, but her curiosity slowly breaks it. The chapter ends with the Masumi leader taking Iori into their custody.

Given how the latest chapter ended, Kagurabachi chapter 63 will likely show Chihiro Rokuhira's battle against Kuguri and the other Hishaku members. The latest chapter doesn't clearly show their battle, as the Masumi members' conversation got the focus.

Besides that, Kagurabachi chapter 63 may show the Masumi taking Samura's daughter, Iori, to their hideout and explain the exact situation to her. It remains to be seen how she reacts to seeing Chihiro Rokuhira, who is a "murderer" in her eyes due to the Kabuki theatre incident.
