A brief recap of Kagurabachi chapter 6

The previous chapter of Kagurabachi started off with the ambushers closing in on Chihiro and Char. One of the assailants explained to Chihiro that Genichi Sojo had spread information about both Char and Chihiro, promising any price to those who would capture the little girl and steal the enchanted blade.

Elsewhere Hinao discovered Genichi's notice from a specific website and feared that every sorcerer from Tokyo would take the bait. Back on the battlefield, Chihiro demonstrated "Black" to slice a bulk of the assailants. However, he discovered that they didn't die when he cut them down.

He speculated that they were probably made of dirt and that someone must have been puppeteering them. One of them then mentioned how they fought with an enchanted blade before in the War, and explained the devastating powers a blade of such calibre possessed.

He believed Chihiro was an immature person for not being able to tap into the true potential of the enchanted blade. At that moment, another sorcerer infiltrated and used mental sorcery on Chihiro. Apparently, he could manipulate a person's brain wave to not only track them down but also to evoke their trauma.

The chapter further explained Char's background, and her clan, Kyonagi. Fans learned that consuming the flesh of a Kyonagi could possibly grant immortality. Although this was perhaps only a rumor, it was nonetheless the reason why so many of them met their end. However, Kyonagi's true power lay in their instantaneous regenerative abilities.

One of the sorcerers believed that Sojo was looking for Char owing to her regenerative properties. The mental-sorcery user mocked Char and suggested that she blame her blood for her fate. At this moment, Chihiro regained his composure and attacked the sorcerer with his short blade.

Once he retrieved his enchanted Katana, Chihiro demonstrated his most powerful technique, Nishiki, to behead the sorcerer. The range of Nishiki was far and wide as it obliterated all the puppets/clones, before ending the puppet master's life. Chihiro speculated that Char didn't want to tell him about her past because she doubted him initially.

However, he also realized that the little girl had begun to trust him because she was on the verge of revealing her secret to him earlier in the car. The chapter ended with the protagonist giving the little girl a piece of bread and apologizing for the immense pain she had endured.

Kagurabachi chapter 7 is one of the most highly anticipated installments as Mangaka Takeru Hokazono has been introducing a plethora of interesting lore into his manga and fans can't wait to see what the new chapter has in store for them.

Since Char now fully trusts Chihiro, she would, in all likelihood, reveal what happened to her in the past in Kagurabachi chapter 7. As a result, she might reveal more about her clan. Shiba, on the other hand, does not know about Chihiro's current state and it would be interesting to see his reaction in the next chapter.
