Mina teases him for this before saying she wants to be the kind of troop member who saves everyone she is deployed with, which Kafka teases her for at first before genuinely supporting her.

This prompts a shift in focus to the present, where Mina calls Kafka a liar jokingly before criticizing him for still trying to do everything on his own.
