The alleged spoilers of Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 270 revealed several things while also hinting at the possibility of a part 2. Chapter 269 had led many fans to theorize about the potential return of Kenjaku as Yuta, but such theories were neither addressed nor expanded upon in the chapter 270 spoilers. Kenjaku was arguably the most intriguing character in the entire series, only surpassed by Gojo and Sukuna.
However, his rather uneventful demise at the hands of Yuta has left many unanswered questions. Given his status as an ancient sorcerer who meticulously crafted a plan over thousands of years, the lack of any such plan's fruition has caused fans to speculate whether his merger plan failed entirely.
While the merger might not have come to fruition, Kenjaku's discussions with foreign government bodies might have been his actual strategy, eventually leading to the globalization of cursed energy.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Kenjaku's plan might've been the globalization of cursed energy
Kenjaku's plan and its eventual consequences have remained the central mystery of the series and continue to be the primary concern even in chapter 270. Kenjaku described his entire plan as the creation of a completely new entity born from the merger of every person in Japan with Tengen. He has been working towards this goal for an entire millennium, taking over different bodies and even giving birth to Yuji to facilitate Sukuna's revival and death, albeit indirectly.
Although Megumi currently has the authority to activate the merger, the Culling Games have not yet ended, and the colonies still exist. Angel's character is the only one who can directly end the Culling Games through her Curse Technique removal by purifying Tengen. As a result, the barriers around the colonies would collapse.
Kenjaku must have known this, yet he still added Angel as one of the Culling Game players. Given his nature, Kenjaku likely anticipated that Angel would oppose his plans. However, he may have included her in the games, knowing that her actions could lead to another interesting outcome.
Chapter 270's alleged spoilers revealed that Tengen was essentially gone, with his remains intertwined with Sukuna's, being used to keep the curse energy-optimizing barriers intact. The barriers might soon collapse, causing the accumulated cursed energy and cursed spirits to leak into the world outside Japan.
The foreign governments are already aware of cursed energy as a potent source of power, so the main cast might allow the leak to happen to prevent the hunting and ostracization of Japanese sorcerers by the global community.
While the leak of cursed energy may not guarantee a significant rise in sorcerer numbers, it would certainly lead to an increase in cursed spirits. It is possible that the anticipated part 2 of Jujutsu Kaisen could follow the main cast as they become teachers, expanding Jujutsu High beyond Japan and training a new generation of sorcerers to combat the growing population of cursed spirits.
Although no official announcement has been made about part 2, plot points concerning the ongoing Culling Games and the eventual collapse of Tengen's barrier are still being developed.
Tengen may have foreseen this collapse and used Mei Mei to eliminate the nefarious New Shadow Style head, making Kusakabe the only sorcerer comparable to the previous clan heads. These actions may have been Tengen's way of preparing for the expansion of cursed energy and ensuring it is overseen by the best available sorcerers.
Chapter 270's alleged spoilers did not reveal Gojo's return or address his death. Given the eerie lack of closure regarding Gojo or even a single mention of his name, it is possible that this avoidance of Gojo is, Gege building up to his return in the final chapter.
Final Thoughts
The Jujutsu Kaisen manga will end on September 29, 2024, with the release of chapter 271. Any announcements regarding season 2, a spin-off, or a prequel have not yet been revealed. However, given the series' popularity and the ongoing hype surrounding it, it is almost certain to receive some form of a new project. The anime is ongoing, with season 3, which will adapt the Culling Games arc, speculated for a 2025 release.
